In the Cemetery of Burci (the old Venetian boats), turtles sunbathe with cormorants and herons while the
regal swans preside over the waters. A lunch stop on the banks of the Sile river where pirates used to sail.
In the afternoon we will set off on the E-Bike towards the Lagoon and the discovery of the sea inhabitants of the Sea Life Aquarium. The Wheel of Venice is definitely located in the perfect location. We chose to attend this activity around dusk and the line was not long at all. This was also a great time because the heat had died down and it wasn't that hot. Oh yeah, the cars are air conditioned! The costs were reasonable as well at the length of time on the ride.

Can’t understand why they say to go at night because when we went & it was dark you couldn’t see a thing. Only a few lights from the hotels & funfair. If you’re going to so it i’d say go at dusk maybe as you may see something then but definitely not at night. For €10 each it is vastly overpriced too. I felt really let down.

Do this in the early evening just before dark it magical with lovely views over the Lido and beyond. The ride lasts for about 10 minutes and you feel very secure in the pods.
