it was a very exciting museum, with many military uniforms, weapons, military medals we are very impressed with the outdoor area with cannons, trenches, motorcycles, tanks and military troop transports etc. The best military museum we have visited to date, would definitely recommend it a visit if you are near jesolo 👍

The Vidotto Museum, less than one mile far from the popular Jesolo seaside, illustrates military history from the 19th century onwards, with particular focuses on WWI and WWII. The museum is private, and that's maybe the reason it does not have yet the popularity and attendance it deserves. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the Museum to all interested in history, (for the exhaustive collection of objects and memorabilia) as well as to families with children, who will surely have lot of fun with the helicopters, tanks and planes on display! (Not to be driven, of course...) A truly amazing experience!

We visited this museum having read a few other reviews and because we have an interest in military history. It gave a good break from the sun for our boys and it was worth the visit. This museum is clearly a family passion for the owners and they are very friendly and knowledgable. They were on hand to explain things throughout our tour. The museum has an extensive collection of military and police uniforms from around the world over the past century and many artefacts, medals and an extensive armoury. There are also two tanks in the garden and they allow visitors to get inside the tanks, which the boys loved!

Well worth a visit. Guide very knowledgeable and takes time to tell you the history of the exhibits. Make sure you have plenty of time for your visit. Astonishing pieces of Italian military history you won’t see the like of anywhere else.

We visited in the middle of July as a little break from swimming and sunbathing, this was a great call, we were two families with young kids and the owner gave us a personal tour of the museum where he let the kids try various weapons and climbing in the armored vehicles. The kids were over the moon with excitement. Definitely recommend as a visit for a couple of hours for anyone with an interest in history or military.
