In the Cemetery of Burci (the old Venetian boats), turtles sunbathe with cormorants and herons while the
regal swans preside over the waters. A lunch stop on the banks of the Sile river where pirates used to sail.
In the afternoon we will set off on the E-Bike towards the Lagoon and the discovery of the sea inhabitants of the Sea Life Aquarium. Dropped in here for a back and both had piadines. Pretty tasty and filling. The service was a bit on the slow side, but it gave us the chance to watch the world go by on our first day in the resort. Not the cheapest in the resort but decent food for the money.
