Wonderful morning truffle hunting in Citerna with Saverino and his dog Nerina. It was amazing to see Nerina tracking and sniffing out the truffles. After two hours of truffle hunting we spent some time in the medieval town of Citerna sipping a cappuccino and admiring the amazing views. We then took a short drive to Tartufi Bianconi’s test kitchen and store where Saverino’s lovely wife Gabriella prepared a fantastic five course lunch featuring truffles. They have a store right on the premises to purchase truffle oils and spreads. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a different kind of adventure/tour.

This is simply a wonderful experience where you get to hunt for truffle with Saverino and his dog Nerina in the morning, followed by a tour of a medieval charming town nearby before heading back to the Bianconi farm where Saverino's lovely wife Gabriella took us through how to prepare and cook different types of truffle. Afterward, Gabriella cooked the most wonderful lunch - with a lot of truffle of course! We all loved this experience and I clearly recommend this to anyone who's curious about the world of truffle hunting and tasting!

The hunt was fun and we learned so much about truffles. The food was excellent and all their products are perfect. Going to order everything to bring home to NY. And coming back next visit to Tuscany.

Had a tasty good lunch followed by truffle hunt, and enjoyed both. Lunch hosted and cooked by Gabriella. You chat and taste variety of truffle products - and uh superb prosecco and wine as well- and also learn a lot about different types of truffle, season, variety, sizes, tastes etc. Truffle hunt is so much real, not sort of touristic attraction, guided by lovely Cecelia - perfect English and lovely smile- and assisted by two dogs. A perfect outdoor experience where you learn a lot about truffle blended by good food and wine, organised very professionally. Very good for kids as well. Definetely recommend. Thnak you guys.

We had a wonderful time with Saverio and Pipo truffle hunting in the woods! Then we went back to the farm for a short tour around the factory. We loved the tasting - there was a generous quantity of different, delicious things to try alongside some wine. Gabriella was so lovely and knowledgeable. As well as teaching us about truffles, she also gave us lots of advice on making our own pasta!

Look for and find truffles with help of Popi, the dog . Really interesting experience especially with kids where you can also sample the different kind of truffles and have a delicious lunch ... guess what ? With truffles .. pity you can’t take one or 2 truffles with you !
Not a restaurant but a truffle farm with one 12 people table . You have to book an all inclusive tour start at 10:am finish after lunch . Around $150 but worth it !

Our family of four had a wonderful time hunting for truffles with Saverio and his trusty dog, Pippo, and our guide Cecelia! Our kids ages, 10 and 7, fell in love with Pippo on the spot and we all loved tromping through the forest while Pippo found us some gorgeous truffles to dig up. It was such fun and having other lovely people on the tour added to the whole experience. After the hunt Cecelia took us on a guided tour of the charming village of Citerna. Lunch back at the farm with the entire group was a very special experience. Saverio’s lovely wife, Gabriella, cooked the most amazing truffle themed lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious and we had so much fun with our new friends from the truffle hunt. I highly recommend this if you’re in the region!!

The other reviewer perfectly summarized the great day we had at the Tartufi Bianconi truffle hunt, cooking lesson and lunch. Not only was the "hunt" exciting, but the lunch featuring truffles was divine.

Lovely panoramic view, happy people, happy dogs and happy us :). We started the hunt , the dogs combination where The "old" smells the ground, the young dig out the truffles (and sometimes could not resist but to eat one) ended up with many black and white truffles. The information provided by ceccilia was i very nteresting, the tasting session was great and we went away with a smile.

We met on a hillside in Umbria bordering Tuscany, in a grove of chestnut, olive and oak trees where the view was spectacular. There were these two Italian men with two of the most adorable happy dogs you've every seen! Our excellent English speaking guide explained the history and everything truffle for us as we helped the dogs find and dig for more than twenty black and white truffles! After, we had a cooking lesson, with the beautiful Gabriella, visiting Saverio's and Gabriella's farm and having the most inspiring food experience of our lives. My cousin and I felt so honored to have seen what they have built in a lifetime, and you could taste it in every bite! The food we cooked with Gabriella was so scrumptious, it is just indescribable! Just everything good you ever have heard of Italian food and the Italian experience. Bravissimo!!
