If you are on the PIero della Francesca trail, Burri makes it all fit. The early works are exactly that, but there is some mature Burri here that make it worth the visit. But the ex-tobacco drying sheds are even better...

Start in the Palazzo Albizzini and then continue to the former tobacco factory to see large scale work, evokes scale of Anselm Kiefer.

Personally we found his work only moderately interesting... Our kids loved the size and abstractness of some of the pieces, really got them thinking and using their imaginations!
