Another lovely little village like Volpaia. There isn't much there apart from a couple of restaurants but the streets are lovely to wander through. We walked up from Greve in Chianti along the 'Slow Road' walk route

The evaluation is not of the Castle, which is not even visible. It is the wonderful and small village of Montfioralle. It is a small and beautiful village located in a coilina with wonderful views over the Tuscan region. It is worth the detour from the main road. .Enter and lose yourself in the narrow and clean alleys, flowers everywhere
Very beautiful

This small village atop a hill outside Greve in Chianti consists of a circular road around a central castle. It has a vey peaceful air and seems unchanged since its medieval roots. Various village cats lounge on high and watch the comings and goings. There is one restaurant in the centre and one on the approach road from Greve. It is the ideal fantasy location for writing that novel you always hoped you had in you.

From Greve in Chianti you can walk (take water on a hot day!) or drive up to this stunning old cobble-streeted village. If driving, the car park you will come to is often packed. Drive on and you will find a spacious car park behind the village. There are no shops, but several restaurants and wine bars. The view are lovely. In the village you can find the family home of the man after whom America is named!

Certainly worth a visit. Photogenic and pleasing. Not a great deal actually to DO; but the textures and the views and the general experience make Castello di Montefioralle a delightful treat.

Small vineyard that does only 4 tastings per day by reservation only. Tastings are extensive paired with food. The biscotti served with the desert wine was by far the best I have ever tasted. The person doing the tastings was very informative. Well worth the experience.

We went to visit Montefioralle because we were meeting the winemaker and vineyard operator of Montefioralle Winery. As instructed to park outside the village walls and walk around the village, we were awestruck by the beauty of this wonderfully preserved medieval village atop a hill, the few local stores were very hospitable. This is truly a must stop and walk for any visitor to the region of Greve in Chianti.

The Winery was amazing as well and we will review it independently, can't wait to get the shipment of the wines purchased there, Cheers!

This has to be one of the most charming places I have ever been to. Even on a rainy day it offered endless opportunities for taking gorgeous pictures.
