Was on a halfday winetasting trip to Chianti, and this was one of the places we visited. Very charming winery and staff, excellent wine and produce from their farm. I've been on quite a few similar, but this was the best wine we sampled (my personal opinion). As it's biological, and produced in small quantities, it is of course expensive, but I still had to buy some wine and vinegar back home - and I saw others doing the same. Well worth a visit. It is also possible to stay there.

Myself and my partner cane for a tasting and absolutely loved it. We received a generous portion of food to go along with the wine and tasted 3 wines of our choice. We also tasted the olive oil and it was divine, so we brought a bottle to take home with us. The lady who served us was very informative and friendly.
I would recommend to visit this winery

We’ve visited some of the largest vineyards in the world; Torres, Antinori, and Château Pommard and some of the smallest like Albert Boillot in Volnay. Our favorites are the small ones like Tenuta Rissecoli to mid sized ones like Sauviou in the south of France. They are family owned and operated with a rich history. Tenuta Rissecoli is no exception. It’s the first one we encounter to ferment the wine outside since they are high enough up in the mountains for cool breeze evenings. It’s also the first and only Pinot Verdot producer we’ve come across outside France. This is a beautiful little grape that is very hard to cultivate because it can only be picked at a perfect time 1 week per year. Normally it’s found in Bordeaux. We tasted there Chianti Classico which was good, their Chianti Riserva which was excellent and their Piccolo Verdot which was fresh and sublime. Their Saeculum which is a Super Tuscan like Brunello from the highest mountain vines was also impressive. Their olive oils are also a radiant yellow and full of pepper flavor. Grazie Manuel.

A small beautifully situated winery run by a small friendly dedicated family who have preserved a magic sense of history and the pleasures of running a business with a tangible sense of pride.
The cellar is a natural cavern for storage and the product slips down a treat.A highlight of our trip and look forward to the next visit.

This is a beautifully situated winery. We stopped off on the way home from Greve in Chianti to buy some wine and Olive oil. The young lady who served us was very knowledgable and told us the background of the olives and grapes and how they were/are to be organically certified. We got to taste both the olive oil and the wine before purchasing. My only regret is not being able to buy more but our luggage weight restrictions prevented us from doing so! We are still using the olive oil at home and have kept a bottle of wine for a special occasion.

We are a group of 10 wine lovers and we visited Riseccoli winery for a wine tasting in April 2017. The staff was very hospitable (Cibile, Marianna and Katerina) gave us a tour of the winery and talked us through the winemaking process. We enjoyed the views from the vineyards and had a look in the cellars were they produce their wine for decades.
Then we tasted the wines produced accompanied by typical Tuscan delicacies (salami, prosciutto and cheese) and some homemade pasta. Their wines are very good, typical examples of chianti classico (and reserva), and their super Tuscan (Saeculum) with 40% of sangiovese is excellent. We finished the tasting with vinsanto and canducci to match their sweet and wonderful hospitality.
I would highly recommend all wine lovers to visit Riseccoli winery for tasting and why not, purchase a few bottles of wine and olive oil. The winery easily accessible from Greve and their wines can be found in restaurants in Greve and the surrounding area to be enjoyed later with dinner.

We happened to drive by this winery and decided to turn around and stop by and we are so glad we did! We were happy to find that we were able to stop in for a brief tasting late morning without a reservation--they were open and awaiting visitors. There were about 5-6 wines (white, red, vin santo) to taste, as well as their own olive oil--delicious; try them all!

We absolutely loved visiting Riseccoli in June.
We sat and sipped wines with plates of food, all provided by the super friendly team. The views are breathtaking, and I just can't believe that you get the experience for free.
Please visit - it is well worth it.

The place was part of a winery tour, the first of a couple. The guide to the winery is a wonderful lady who worked there for 3 years. She is knowledgeable and speaks fluently. It is a joy listening to her. The winery is not huge but consists of a few types including vinegar and oil. As the first it is easy to strike the best impression. The meat and cheese to come with the wine tasting was a wonderful experience. They also make sure the kids are given the snacks and water so not to feel left out. A cat was there making the place even more adorable. What a wonderful trip that I will definitely recommend everyone to go.
It was rather unfortunate that my wife was upset by a poor man who has challenge working and serving for international clients. So instead of passing around the snacks he had to skip some Asians (seated right at the front next to where he finished the serving) after serving 30 other tourists. After being reminded he served the snacks on the next round to them but intentionally with one hand without looking at the clients. I would not go to the extreme to call this racism though no other tourists are Asians. He almost used a water glass for an Indian lady who was not given a wine glass. I am sure he didn’t mean it and will change or be a bit more careful. So next time if you see him, just remind him with a smile that people from all over the world are the same.
