Our 5 night stay with Elena and her family at Podere Campriano was a highlight of our trip to Italy . The warm welcome , exceptional service and care made us feel like we were staying with family. The location is perfect for exploring the area . You are positioned above the town for tranquility, views and peace yet the town to walk in to for dinners is only 10 minutes away. The cooking class and wine tasting was one of the best days of my holiday. Highly recommended, can’t wait to return one day.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at this B&B. We had a suite in the main building, and my parents had a lovely room next to the wine cellar. Views from the top of the hill and from the shaded patio were beautiful. Both rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, and the beds were cozy. We arrived just as the wine harvest was finished, and it was fun to see the activity and commitment the entire family had around their farm and livelihood. The hill is steep, but my partner and I walked it with little difficulty--quick 10 minute walk into Greve's main square, with shops, restaurants, and a market on Saturdays.
Breakfast is Italian continental--more than adequate for all of us, and Elena is quick with a smile and coffee. It is set up in the wine cellar, and it is interesting to see the pictures of the farm over the years, as well as hear some of its history from Elena. You can also order a nice picnic lunch, if you plan to hang out at the pool or wander the area. We had a nice bottle of wine and a cheese plate when we first arrived, and enjoyed it immensely. They do not sell their wine in the local stores--only to people who've stayed with them or have heard about them. It is good wine--unfortunately, we were traveling with backpacks, so will have to have it shipped over!!
Elena speaks English well; her family speaks less. We were able to communicate with everyone, and Zotto (their 1 year old puppy) made it easy. Love of animals is an easy thing to see, and we had fun with him. You can tell the minute you arrive that this B&B is something special--very personal and caring--we will definitely return!

This is our second time to Podere Campriano and we will highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visits the Chianti region.
It is centrally located and has great amenities including a fantastic pool which during our visit was used daily with a heat wave happening and temps in the 37-41 Celsius. Elena and family are as always the most hospitable hosts and such a lovely family, we again did the cooking class which again was a highlight and a great day had by all we met a lovely couple from San Fransisco who joined in the cooking, eating and drinking.
I will absolutely without reservation recommend your stay here and can guarantee that if you are like minded you will enjoy and be satisfied.

This gem of a farm features a B & B, wine tasting, and a cooking lesson in some wonderful family recipes! We had arranged a family cooking lesson, and it was truly memorable! Set in the beautiful hills of Greve in Chianti, the large indoor and outdoor cooking space was so inviting! Our college aged son and daughter loved their active roles in making bread, pate, pasta primavera, pork rib roast, papa pomodoro, and a delicious "custard cake" (more like a tart)! EVERYTHING was made from scratch, and I ADORE their authentic wood oven! Our meal included 4 different wines from their own reserves. The meal was truly delicious!!! The B & B looked so serene and relaxing, we will have to try it someday! At the end of our visit, we even received a delightful, handwritten recipe book, memories we will cherish!

We stayed at Podere Campariano for two nights during our Tuscany trip. The hostess Elena was extremely helpful. The estate is located on the elevated vineyard hilltop where you have a unobstructed view of the town. Our loft room was well kept and with lovely country charm. The place also offers the wine tasting and cooking class. If you're interested, ask for availability when you check in. Lovely stay at Podere Campriano!!

This by far was one of the major highlights of our 5 day trip to Tuscany! We had a cooking class with the owners of the property, 2 generations of authentic italian chefs, father and daughter...We made homemade pasta, even dried it on bamboo poles, delicious tuscan red sauce, pork roast with fresh herbs from the garden, grandmas special cake and liver pate! We sampled wine from their vineyard and had a tour of their winery which is on their beautiful property....They also have a beautiful b&b on their property. The great part of this day was that everything we did was spent outdoors, they have an outside oven and all the prep was done in the open tuscan air!! A TRUE 5 STAR EXPERIENCE...Can't wait to go back just to see Elena and her father!!

This family-run organic winery and farmhouse was our home in Greve in Chianti for a week. Surrounded by their vineyards and gardens, the estate has five (5) beautiful suites/apartments for a maximum of 12 adult guests - perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The Lapini family are fantastic hosts, cooks and winemakers. The full breakfast every morning was a great start to the day. And if you're lucky enough to book an evening dinner or cooking class with them, take the opportunity! Both experiences are truly amazing ways to enjoy their great foods and fine wines of the Chianti Classico region.
In addition to the clean well kept rooms, other amenities include a covered seating area and saltwater pool - both situated above the accommodations on the hillside overlooking the town. It gives you a chance to mingle with other guests from around the world. Or just spend an afternoon soaking up the Tuscan sun.
Overall Podere Campriano was a fabulous central location from which to explore the whole Tuscany region if you're looking to visit the surrounding wineries, restaurants and historic sites.
These are the many reasons it's always full. So book well in advance if you want any chance of staying here. We're certainly glad we did!
