My husband and I were there July of this year for wine tour/tasting. We had an amazing experience. It was a group tour so we were with about 12 other people. The tour lady was very enthusiastic and informative. The views from the castle is pretty. The winery tour itself lasted about one hour followed by a wonderful tasting and... More

We booked the shorter 1.5 hour tour. Covered the essentials of the estate including history behind wines, olive and balsamic. Funny tour guide. Tasting of wine, oil and balsamic provided at the end. Tasting of "real" balsamic to die for!

Take the wine tour with lunch included for the best experience. The guides are particularly informative and show great enthusiasm. The castello itself is beautiful and has wonderful views. The wine tasting lunch - again very informative with the pairing of wines, and they are generous with the wine portions! The food is all home produce; not a gastronomic feast,... More

Had lunch with four adults and four kids (2x 5yo, 3yo and 2yo) and the staff were very welcoming. Two great bottles of wine with lunch and bill was €200. Lunch was okay, not brilliant, but the main thing is we got a winery lunch despite having the kids with us!

What a delightful place! My wife and I did a 11am wine tour on July 6th. The winery sits on top of a hill that you need to drive 10 minutes from the street to get to, with the Tuscany view of rolling hills, patches of vineyards, fields, and forests, and little houses with red roofs that you dream of.... AMAZING! The best wine experience we have ever had so far. The wine and Food experience was awesome. Full tour of the grounds and winery, then the wine, ohhhh so tasty and food was probably the best meal ever. The food and wine is all organic and grown on the grounds of the winery. We highly recommend this winery, worth... More

On arrival we were given a tour of the winery and heard about the fine art of blending four types of grapes to obtain the famous Chianti. We then had a wonderful meal of local specialties with wine tasting. A most beautiful late afternoon treat. The views of the Tuscan landscape were amazing.

A group of traveling friends visited for a tour. The place is beautifully situated. The tour was fun and informative. Our guide was very pleasant. But the real reason for visiting is to see and enjoy the wonderful "castle" and its grounds. Well worth a visit that you will not forget!
