This winery is an absolute MUST VISIT. First off, the property is beyond gorgeous. The entire place is like a post-card. The views are amazing, the air was either filled with whatever was cooking in the kitchen or just a crisp, clean, lemony scent.

The tour has a lot of history and our guide was just awesome. It had a real family feel to it. The wines were also very good but the star of this entire Castello is the Balsamic. During the tasting, you get a small spoonful to pour on top of some Pecorino but we immediately bought a bottle because we've never had anything like it!!

The Castello is located very nice with superb views.
The guided tour is nice but not special compared to other winery‘s in this area.

It seems a lot like a sales tour, more than just informational.

The tasting at the end was good, four wines and balsamico vinegar with cheese.
Wines are delicious unfortunately you have to drink from glasses that are far from being clean.

We picked this winery based on reviews for our Chianti winery on our way into the old city. The drive ends at a spectacular winery with a lovely balcony overlooking the vineyard and aerial view of the area. Unfortunately we went around noon, and a tour was just starting so we had to wait quite a bit just to taste some wine. We did leave with 3 bottles and the balsamic vinegar. The latter is not cheap for a tiny bottle but so so delicious. Worth a visit even if just for the views!

We had a wine tour around the fantastic estate with an extremely knowledgeable guide, running us theough the history of the wine and castle. The wine was great, and our only regret was not staying for lunch!

A visit is highly reccomended for anyone interested in wine

Chiara was our tour guide and she was simply the best. She made the tour worthwhile (better than the food and wine)! Thanks Chiara!!

This was a highlight of our trip to the area. Being from NY made it personally interesting as well. Maria, our guide, was fantastic and clearly loves the place. Wine was great, and lunch was fantastic!

The wine was spectacular! We enjoyed the tasting, while we weren’t very good at differentiating the subtle notes in each wine, we loved learning about the scents, flavours and process. The tour was informative and lovely to see the grounds and gorgeous views! Wonderful experience!

We stayed two nights at the Foresteria Casa Nova which is just a bit up the hill with a nice view of the vineyards and the neighbouring Castello. It is a charming and quaint place with a very comfortable room and we quite enjoyed our stay. Simone at the main office was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations in town and with anything we asked about. He even arranged for us to have our breakfast delivered to us the night before we left as we had to leave early on our last morning.

We did the gastronomic specialities tour and tasting and loved it. The Castello and grounds were beautiful and the tour very interesting. But the highlight was definitely the tasting as the food and wine was delicious. A plateful of salami, cheeses and crostino was more than enough for our lunch. And the wine was very good and I'm still very much looking forward to having that last bottle we brought home that I've been saving.

The breakfast served at the Foresteria was also very good with again more wonderful salami and cheese, cappuccino and cake. We ate both dinners in the town of Grieve and had two great meals.

We also drove around several of the surrounding towns including Panzano and loved all the views in the Chianti region. Definitely recommend the tasting tour and staying here for your time in Chianti.
