We arrived as part of a Uniworld Tour. Knowledgeable guide took us through the cellars and explained the wine making process. Then arrived at a terrace cafe for a substantial lunch paired with all the wines we learned about on the tour. Left with great memories of the food and the experience of well structured wines.

We loved our visit to Castello di Verrazzano. The staff were really friendly and our tour guide had a great sense of humor too. We took the 11am tour which included a 'light' lunch which was absolutely gigantic .. All local meats and cheeses with bruschetta. Delicious! Highly recommend!

We were walking up the road to the winery and the owners were driving by, they were so kind they stopped and gave us a ride to the winery! The couple was so inviting and made the experience so heart warming. The food and the wine were delicious. I recommend this as a must have experience for anyone traveling in... More

This place is a great combination of history, food and wine tasting however I would like to start with the staff. They are friendly and proud of what they do, the strive to accommodate your needs the best possible way. We were a family of five, and we followed the suggestions for three bottles of wine once you order the... More

We did the 11am tasting tour and lunch. We requested a vegetarian lunch and it was wonderful. The views and the winery are gorgeous. We had a very friendly and knowledgable tour guide. I highly recommend this tour - it was a highlight of our trip to Italy. The education about Chianti and wine was very good.

We had an amazing time at Castello di Verrazzano. Gino was an amazing host and we thoroughly enjoy our tour, our wine and balsamic tasting and our food. I don't think that I would recommend this experience to those who don't eat meat.

Compact tour of the Verrazzano Winery showing the beautiful Castello and winecaves. Amazing views of the Chianti heartland. Crashcourse of Chianti wine, olive oil and "the real" aceto balsamico tasting. The staff was very charming and hospitable and made you feel welcome. Very worth the visit and should be part of every Chianti tour.

My husband and I were there July of this year for wine tour/tasting. We had an amazing experience. It was a group tour so we were with about 12 other people. The tour lady was very enthusiastic and informative. The views from the castle is pretty. The winery tour itself lasted about one hour followed by a wonderful tasting and... More

We booked the shorter 1.5 hour tour. Covered the essentials of the estate including history behind wines, olive and balsamic. Funny tour guide. Tasting of wine, oil and balsamic provided at the end. Tasting of "real" balsamic to die for!

Take the wine tour with lunch included for the best experience. The guides are particularly informative and show great enthusiasm. The castello itself is beautiful and has wonderful views. The wine tasting lunch - again very informative with the pairing of wines, and they are generous with the wine portions! The food is all home produce; not a gastronomic feast,... More
