About
No photograph or article, however beautiful or well written, will ever be able to convey the full charm of this age-old village, with its vineyards, woods and olive groves. The best way to discover it is to follow the example of the ancient Romans and the thousands of pilgrims who have passed through it over the centuries, ascending from the Greve valley to the natural terrace of Lamole that overlooks the whole of the Chianti Classico zone. You can choose between two engaging tours that will introduce you to this stunning region. Share the history and explore the authentic winemaking vocation of Lamole di Lamole. Begin your tour in the historical vineyard, visit the winery, and finish at the Salotto di Lamole and our Bistrot for excellent food and wine samplings.

No breaking news, all the reviews were true.
This gem, perched on the top of the village of Lamole, outshines a picturesque view of the Chianti region.

We were kindly received and served during all of our lunch. The pacchero al tartuffo and the simple penne tomota/burrata were exquisite.

We had a marvelous experience and we highly recommend the spot. Huge thanks to the crew again!

When my boyfriend said we had a second wine tasting on that day I thought... why? Wine tasting will be the same everywhere... huge mistake. Lamole di Lamole was much more than just tasting wine. That was a great experience that exceeded all the expectations. Not just because the wine is excellent, btw, I'm not a wine expert. I just enjoy drinking it. The place is like an oasis when you come from the very hot roads in Greve in Chianti. We were welcomed by Sophia, a fabulous person that makes fascinated with the stories about Chianti, Florence, Siena and more... we left Lamoli di Lamole amazed with the experience and planing to back in another time... I hope very soon!
If you want to bring their delicious wine home and have difficulties with baggage, they can ship it for you. The visit in Lamole di Lamole is one of my top 3 experiences in Tuscany.

We did an afternoon wine tour around the Chianti Classico region, and visited the winery. The tour as excellent, taking us into the cellars and explaining how the wine was made, and also tips on how to identify good wine when buying. The wine tasting with food. Various wines on offer for sale. Excellent, one of the highlights of our time in Italy.

This is a lovely restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was exceptional as was the service. We ate there several times and others in our party ate there a few more. Unhurried, charming, and delicious food and local wine. Eat outside if you can for a lovely view of the valley..at night enjoy the neighboring lights and stars.

Best experience I've had by far in many wine tasting in several countries.
What makes it special is not the wine. Don't take me wrong, the wine is good! But the difference is on top of a great location, a fantastic host (Sofia) sharing all the little stories of the place, very attentive to details who will make sure you live a special experience.
For 20 Eur each you will get a very generous wine tasting with cheese and cold meat platter, olive oil and bread and to finish, the unforgettable papa al pomodoro.
Highly recommend compared to other many commercial places!!

Booked a €15pp Sunday afternoon tour here through the local tourism office. Our tour guide Camilla was energetic and informative. If you want to learn about Chianti wine while enjoying Chianti wine we would certainly recommend the tour

We have just spent the morning doing a very informative yet relaxed and enjoyable wine tour.
Sophia is passionate about the wine and the process of making the wine .The wine tasting was extensive and wonderful -we were reluctant to leave !
Sophia was a great ambassador for the region.
We thoroughly enjoyed our morning here and would recommend this place to all wine connoisseurs!

We found this wine tasting and tour on trip advisor and didn't regret coming to Lamole for this great experience. Sofia was very accomodating and just as enthusiastic as she was wise about wine. We were led from the vineyard through the cellars to the best part: the tasting while Sofia educated us on the proces of making wine along the way. We would recommend this to Everyone and hope to come back some day!

We took the backroads to arrive at the charming hillside village of Lamole, population 84, or so I was told! All because of a recommendation! And what a wonderful restaurant it was! We were there on a cloudy/sunny day; the vistas of green hills, olive trees and vineyards below our terrace table were amazingly beautiful which only added to the enjoyment of the wonderful food we found here as well! Our waitress told us she had lived in Lamole her entire life, and she took such obvious pride of ownership in the area, the food, the offerings! Two of us had a tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, one had the rabbit and I had the roast pork....all of the food was wonderfully prepared, presented and delicious! As we were in Chianti, the wine was also amazing. At the end of the meal, we were brought a bottle of icy limoncello....and it was the best I had on our entire trip! Of all the restaurants we were at in 11 days in Italy, this was the one I longed to return to!
