We came to visit the river and spray park, had to book in advance, bought the tickets and JUST THEN they told us that de spray park was closed. Also the river had almost no water, terrible place to spend any time. Even more, some...More
We did Bodyrafting on the last day of our holiday. It was great! A real adventure and great that we had a small group of 6. The rocks are beautiful. Even me (clumsy) was able to do this with the great help of our guide...More
The gorge is really beautiful and well worth a visit.
Definitely recommend the Body Rafting experience with Etna Truvatura, booked by phoning the number on their website the day before. Easy instructions to meet with the energetic and friendly guide Luca, who made the experience...More
This park is very confusing with several different pricing options. Unless you want to take part in one of the organised activities I would recommend that you park your car in the main car park (pay a donation) then leave the main car park on...More
45 minute bus trip (ETNA TRASPORTI - 2.70 euro single) from Giardini Naxos brought a return here. In addition to a quick paddle in the gorge itself (cold and refreshing), our 3.5YO son wanted to walk in the trails. This cost his parents 12 euros...More
we came here because of the great reviews and it actually was a great experience. The truvatura team did a great job guiding us to our starting destination, since we got lost finding the place. They guided us with phone calls and what's app messages....More
Our whole group of three generations loved going here. We walked a fair way up the gorge through the very cold water and it was such an experience. The basalt rock formations are beautiful. It was a novel experience enjoyed by all. Wear swim wear...More

River is beautifull. So refreshing after hot day.
Only thing that everyone should know is that you have to pay 8 euros per person to see that. It is a totaly rip off.
Of course you have a hidden entry only 150 meters up the...More
We went on an amazing body rafting trip with Truvatura. We went with two adults and two kids of 10 and 12.
First you go, in a thick wet suit with a life jacket on, up river. Without a guide this is impossible. The first...More

The elevator is 8 Euros and the stairs (just walking down&up by foot, steep but really not a long way, manageable within minutes) are just 1.5 Euros. Different services and even the entrance is at different places, the elevator starts somewhere in the Alcantara+botanical garden complex and the stairs start a bit farther, along the road. For just visiting the Alcantara itself (and if you are in good condition and not with a wheelchair), I really suggest to use the stairs only :)
