The best of Puglia

We were lucky to enjoy both the Adriatic and Ionic coast by boat in a private tour with Mino, a knowledgeable and extremely courteous local that provided a thorough explanation of the historical transformation and human development of the coast. Mino shared with us the history, legend and curious details of every cave and natural formation. The private boat trip was very reasonably priced and is the ideal way to enjoy a swim in caves and coves that are not reachable on foot. Booking details and engagement communication was easy and fast. We were more than pleased with the experience and happily recommend Leuca explorer and Mino.

Amazing day visiting the grotte on a fast and comfortable gommone

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. We took a private boat trip of 4 hours to both sea-sides. The booking process was easy going and very professional and Annarita took great care of answering all our questions and sent me many very useful photos. The guide, Mino, was very kind and professional. He took us to a secret grotto that was very private and without all the other boats that are always around. We even had a nice apperetivo on board. I would warmly recommend this company to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day on a boat looking at the grotte of the area.

Amazing experience in almost private tour

An amazing experience. We got lucky and managed to visit several beautiful grottas. Mr Mino is friendly and tries to do his best. Lack of English isn't a barrier, and he went an extra mile literally and figuratively and made the experience one of the most remarkable of our vacation.

Great trip, beautiful sunset.

We left swiftly, and went out to sea. We then found a couple of fishing spots and caught a few small fish of which we kept to cook, the fishing rods were provided.

After, we were taken to a few beautiful caves so we could jump off the boat and swim during the amazing sunset.

Great afternoon/evening.

We booked a private boat trip with Leuca Explorers and it was incredible! From the moment I reached out to Mino regarding information and until the very end of the trip, Mino was very nice, he responded very fast and he made everything possible! Mino took us to different caves and beaches which we were unable to reach by land, he was very informative and our trip was customized! It was the birthday of my fiancé and Mino responded perfectly to my requests and made everything possible! The trip was more than I expected! Thank you so much Mino, see you next time! 😊

Best experience of my holiday

Wow! Couldn’t recommend this experience more. The most fantastic boat trip with Mino who totally made the whole experience for us. He was great fun, kind, friendly and encouraged us to go swimming in the caves with him which I’m so pleased we did - no other tours around seemed to go to the lengths Mino did especially when stopping off to swim, he took us on his paddle board, diving under a cave and swimming through the caves to explore. We felt safe with him at all times and we are only average swimmers. We also had wine, snacks and music on the boat at sunset after a fantastic three hours of adventure. This trip is a must!!

Amazing afternoon exploring and swimming in grottos

We went on the 3 hour boat tour along both coast lines of Santa Maria di Leuca and it was amazing. We were lucky to be the only two people on the boat with Mino, our guide, and we had a lot of fun together. Conditions weren’t good for swimming at the beginning so Mino took us further down the coast and showed us more incredible grottas. At the end we were able to swim into a cave that had kind of an underwater beach, it was so amazing! I would absolutely recommend taking a tour with Mino! He was tour guide, DJ and fast & furious boat driver all in one :) we had an absolute blast with him.

It was a once in a lifetime experience. It was sooooo much fun! I felt like a local with Mino. He is the absolute best! He showed us all the caves and even swam with us and took us under this grotto thing we had to swim under to get into and even into these crazy caves and let us explore how we wanted. I felt like I was in avatar! They even gave us Prosecco and some snacks. He was amazing. Definitely recommend!

We took two boats out with 19 of us ranging in age from 3 to 55. Everyone loved it. Mino and Giacomo went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. And Mino kindly organised the trip for us at short notice. I would recommend Leuca Explorer whole heartedly. It’s been the highlight of our holiday.

AMAZING boat tour with Mino!

Absolutely amazing boat tour! Mino was an incredible host and tour guide: knowledgeable, professional, easy-going and very fun to spend an afternoon with. The views were spectacular, the boat ride very smooth, and swimming into the Adriatic Sea caves was one of the, if not THE, highlight of our two week trip to Italy. Definitely do not hesitate to book this boat tour if you are in Puglia! Grazie!!!
