About
My name is Marco, and my dream is to guide you on a tour with your heart, and to share with you traditions, history, and emotions of the area where I was born. My Pequod is a typical Ligurian wood Gozzo (9mt x 3mt), equipped with a latest generation engine. It has all the comfort: sundeck, awning, and fresh water shower. In all our tours we enjoy an Italian aperitivo with traditional salty pies, BIO salame and cheese from the inland Val di Vara with soft drinks from an eco-sustainable project, prosecco, local Vermentino wine, beer, or Agriturismo Le Lagore myrtle liqueur. During our Morning Tour we share an Italian breakfast: espresso&cappuccino, and recently baked pastries by the local Pasticceria Bianchi. Snorkeling gears, noodles, and life jackets included.

An incredible memory!

We had a fantastic trip with Matteo and Marco visiting the Cinque Terre. Matteo was a very accommodating host - so knowledgeable about the history and great with our two young kids. The trip included wine, fruit and local treats from the focacceria. Three hours was the perfect amount of time for the kids. An absolutely unforgettable experience. Thank you, Matteo and Marco!

10/10 Paddle boat rental

Our experience with Marco was incredibly satisfying. He was helpful, funny, and a good sport. We rented a paddleboat from him while he was moving the objects on the beach like an Adonis. The prices were clear and fair. The people who left poor reviews must have experienced a difference Marco experience from our own and have no idea what they missed out on. Marco is truly the Jean Valjean of Italy. Would come back to Levanto just for Marco.

Our family of 10 went on a 2 hour boat ride. I believe the guy's name is Marco. He took us along the coast and dropped anchor in a cove for the children to swim. Then he took us to a cave for us to swim inside. He was so good with our children - two 10 year olds, two 12 year olds and a 14 year old. He helped them with snorkel equipment and even swam with all of us in the cave because we were a little nervous. He speaks good English and is funny. We really enjoyed our outing. He provides Cokes, water and tea. We brought wine,cups and snacks with us. We also rented a paddleboat from him on another day. He is laid back and very nice. Great time in Levanto!

Cheating and rude guy, be careful!!! attenzione il truffatore!!!

When we returned a boat and the price has changed. We have been informed to pay extra 20€ on the top of 50 € we paid before. The owner charged us additionaly for the fuel saying that we used 8 litres while in fact it was 2 litres( johnson 10 HP engine running for 30 minutes ). when we pointed it he started to shouted and we heard a lot of rude words in italian(i'm speaking italian ).

Quando siamo tornati e la barca e il prezzo è cambiato. Siamo stati informati che pagare un extra di € 20 sulla parte superiore 50 € in prepagato prima. Il proprietario ci ha fatto pagare per il carburante additionaly dicendo che abbiamo usato 8 litri, mentre in realtà era 2 litri (johnson motore acceso per 30 minuti). Quando ci ha sottolineato ha iniziato lui ha gridato e abbiamo sentito un sacco di parolacce in italiano (ho conosciuto italiano

We loved our time on Marco's boat!

We did the 2-hr snorkeling/caving tour and really enjoyed it. Marco was a great guide and the excursion was really affordable.

He provides cold water and all of the gear.

A truly unique experience

We had a fantastic time on the boat with Matteo and Marco. The tour was very interesting thanks to Matteo who is very knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot about the cinque terre.
The food was delicious and we got to taste the cinque terre delicacies!
Our stop in Varnazza was lovely and the swims in the warm sea was amazing!
Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed this great boat tour and we were Lucky that we were the only ones a board, so it became a private tour.
Marco is a great guide, really relaxed and he showed us some nice caves to dive in.
Wonderful way to end our holiday here in Levanto.

An Amazing Experience

10/10 tour, Marco and Linda were absolutely fantastic. A great tour with excellent drinks/food/views. Can’t recommend this highly enough. The knowledge that Marco and Linda have about the region is incredible and they give such a detailed and interesting history of the area. The stops for swimming in hard to reach coves were excellent and we had an amazing time. We were in the area for our Honeymoon and this was a huge highlight of the trip. Thank you to Marco and Linda!

Graham&Nika, since the first moment you stepped on the Pequod, your smiles, and laughs became contagious, and you were able to melt the invisible barriers sometimes people build up. On the boat we could feel the same vibe that you breath among people that go back a long way... The other guests on the boat fit amazingly with your heartbeats. We are simply so grateful for this day, thank YOU for sharing it with us! The best for your future together, keep on enjoying your Honeymoon, and your super dinner awaiting you in Alba! We know you’ll remember us any time you will think of a Tiramisù…till the next time!

Complete tour of 5 terre and more. The captain Marco is a man of value with the only objective of satisfying his customer and make them relax whilst enjoying his tour.
Amazing water, big aperitif with salami, cheeses, drinks and wines.
This is the tour to book, If you want to truly experience 5 terre

Fabulous tour
Absolutely amazing tour, swimming in crystal clear water and seeing 3 of 5 “terre” from the sea. Comfortable boat, Marco and his colleague are attentive to the children so they come safely back on the boat using the ladder. Marco’s colleague was telling us interesting facts about the area. Good snacks and drinks. The duration is 2 hours which is good for the children, not too short and not too long. Highly recommended! Thank you Marco for sharing your dream come true.
