About

Beautiful location...just forget the 4* service!
Sep 2020 • Couples
Apollon is in a fantastic location. Our room was great, the restaurant view is amazing and we can only admit that it seems a paradise! However, the service at the bar/restaurant, the guys at the beach and other amenities are not even close to the level it should be for a 4* hotel. Being local we have suggested to the manager to take actions. A few examples for you to consider if it is a relaxing 4* holiday or a total rip off! Here you go the facts:
1. Cleaning lady at 7:30am using vacuum and moving furniture to clean the room next to us;
2. You open your own umbrella and sunbeds on the private beach;
3 No bathrobe in the room;
4 No free transfer to/from port (consider 25 euros for a taxi PLUS an electric car that you have to pay extra to get to the hotel);
5 No scooters or cars available to guests for renting;
6 Small bites and toast can be ordered only after 3:30pm;
7 You can only bring (yourself!) an aperitif to the sunbeds by the sea...if you bring the glasses back! 🤣🤣
8 We ordered a light lunch of watermelon...we got 3 tiny tiny pieces and half of one piece was white peel;
9 Every small bottle of water is 4€.
Bottom line, it is not a 4* hotel unless we are talking about its price. All the rest it is not worth, believe me! And i told it to the manager so hopefully they will change something! Think about it before booking it!

Great but improvements really needed
Aug 2020 • Couples
We planned to enjoy the therms for a day (not staying at the hotel).
The location is clearly awesome and the therms offer 8 different great pools, as well as a direct access to the sea.

The experience would have been really really great without a poor organisation from their side:
- the price announced on the phone was 31€ if we pre-booked, otherwise 55€. We booked it in advance but finally we had to pay 40€ and no one from the employees has apparently ever heard about the prices announced on the phone by them.. (either someone is saying the wrong price on the phone, either the price changes every day....)
- as a customer not staying at the hotel you don't have a towel.

As customer not staying at the hotel, you really feel not welcomed. Not furnishing a towel when you pay for a day at the therms seems crazy..

There are improvements really needed for the standing of the location but it's still a great place to chill.

Fabulous

We actually stayed in the hotel Miramare but this is part of the same venue. Fantastic facilities with a choice of restaurant and bars at the hotel and the spa. Service and food first class. Difficult to praise the spa enough - 8 pools ranging in temperature from sea water to the hottest thermal pool at around 42c. We spent most of our time in the water & relaxing on the ample sun loungers.

Lovely and Relaxing
May 2017 • Friends
We stayed for a week at Miramare Sea Resort and Spa. Guests here receive free entrance to the nearby Giardini Termali Aphrodite Apollon. I went daily because there is no pool on the hotel grounds nor beach as the structure is built into cliffs. Aphrodite Apollon, however, offers both thermal pools and a nice beach. The immaculate pools proved to be most refreshing and uncrowded in May. There were plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy on a terrace that overlooks the sea. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained, and we enjoyed lunch at its open-air cafe which features a terrific water view. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Aphrodite Apollon stands about a 10-minute walk (hills involved) from Miramare and I mostly strolled between the two places. But there is a free electric cart service. I took the cart once and had fun riding in it. The water taxi from town stops at the beach below Aphrodite Apollon and it is about a 30-second walk to the entrance.

Amazing, my husband and I went for a week of solemn relaxation and we couldn't have asked for more. We come from NYC so we are constantly under stress, one week was enough to give us the energy for another year. The terme are so clean, the stuff is great, the treatments fabulous and the restaurant beyond delicious. A must do!

Realaxing and wonderful

There are many pools of varying temperatures from really hot to really cold. Many lounge chairs around so you can mostly find a place that you feel comfortable with. Its all about hanging out in the pools and benefiting from the thermal waters. These pools go from the top of the hill down to the sea. Lots of steps but delightful.
Do not miss the old natural rock sauna. Terme Linda offer various health treatments. I had a massage there with Carmino who was great. Nice that you do not have to make an appointment and can just walk in.

Take the "tagliata di frutta", a platefull of freshly cut melon, peach, cherries,grapes, pineapple, pear and apple.
Very nice, but sometimes you'd prefer a salad "caprese" or with tunafish.

Expensive location
Jun 2015 • Couples
This hotel is in a great location for views and relaxation. The only problem here is that you have to get there by foot as there is no access by car. If you can find someone who will take you in a golf buggy then your lucky. A few past us but we were never asked or offered a lift to get to th hotel. Once you arrive it's a long walk up And down hills and steps. The rooms are basic but veryl clean and well maintained. Only complaint was the small showers but the view made up for that. When you get into the town be prepared for a range of very expensive places to eat and drink prices are outrageous. The accommodation is also not cheap and breakfast is quite limited in the offering. The pools are very nice and hotel guests have access to two areas one for residents and one which is open to the public. Hotel terrace is relaxing and staff are generally nice. Stay here if you want to relax and don't care about paying high prices for everything you have.

This thermal has very friendly ambience. I like the antic desing of whole thermal. Below the spa you can find beach with hot sand and try local speciality - roasted rabbit in the hot sand👌
