It is easy from the Serrara Fontana where there are the horses to walk at the top but at some places, the path is really narrow so if there are a lot of people, it could be bothering. Some spots are also slippery. Once you get up there, it is amazing and you have a panoramic view of all the island and can take beautiful pictures. I had a cappuccino at the restaurant La Grotta which was one of the best I ever had but expensive comparing to the other ones - 2.50 euros which is less expansive than the ones in Canada. The staff is friendly and helpful at answering your questions.

This was truly FUN ! My husband and I have some limited experience riding horses, about 25 years ago. That was plenty of experience to be able to enjoy riding these horses along the ridge of Ischia. Last year, I climbed to the summit by foot, and it was beautiful, but very strenuous. So this year I decided that doing it by horse would be more enjoyable - and it was. The horses were well behaved and gentle. Our guided ride was for an hour and a half with amazing scenery on both sides of the ridge. Our guide even volunteered to take pictures of us with my camera which turned out beautifully. He suggested, with a smile, that my hands should be free to hold on to the horse's reigns. I highly recommend do this activity while on Ischia. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the experience was so much fun!
