This is a real must - and makes for great photos. We walked from the port, but you can catch a bus, but you would miss out on all of the shops on the way if you went by bus

This was an amazing place to visit - full of history and the views were fantastic. Every time you turned a corner, you were greeted by a beautiful view of the the island and the Mediterranean. The cafe/restaurant was lovely and served a delicious cheesecake.

Loved visiting the castle! There is a lot to see, the map you get at the entrance is helpful and there are signs to point you in the right direction everywhere. The castle itself is interesting, but I would have visited for the view alone....More

Entrance costs 10€. It sounds a little bit pricey but once you're there you see it's worth it. We took the elevator next to the ticket office (no extra cost) to go up and start the visit. You can also walk all the way up...More

A spectacularly situated castle close to Ichsea with wonderful views. There is much step climbing and not a lot to see apart from the architecture of the castle itself and great views. Literature is in Italian with German as second language. Well worth an hour's...More

Obviously we are not living their time but you can re-live the experience of the people that lived there at that time. The elevator brings you to the top of the island and you only have to walk down a well organized path that leads...More
