Lovely atmospheric church which we entered during a torrential downpour in the town, and were glad we did. Sitting quietly, taking in the subtle colours and peaceful, contemplative atmosphere, was balm for the soul.

Just to sit awhile and remember what life is all about is so needed and in this beautiful place one can do just that

We occasionally ran into this place, it was open late in the evening. Interesting paintings, a lot of beautiful marble inlay.

From the outside it doesn't seem a very important building but inside it is lovely, lots of gilt and raised alter.

What a connection to my roots to see a basilica with my family name. It is beautiful inside and each statue, painting, and area is stunning. Worth a stop in!

Walking down the street I saw this nice church and curiosity to see it from inside made me walk in. Inside I discovered black Madonna. I spent some time here admiring the art and the beauty of this peaceful and divine place.

An oasis of quiet in the pretty town. Wonderful ceilings - it looks rather like a wedding cake as it is white and so pretty. There is a beautiful organ too. This is a rather less over the top church than many in Italy .

As follower of God its an obligation to give thanks and praise.. For me its the first I do whenever and whatever I do..and this church is just 10 pace from the hotel..it's not that big but I fell the spirit , a solemn place. I consider myself to be lucky enough that I was here...and I say Thank you Lord..

We were lucky. this little church had a wedding in full progress so it was good to see it in full use. The intimacy of the place is what strikes you and the location is just delightful.

Like so many Italian churches from the outside very plain and ordinary, but what a difference once inside
