Luckily we chose a beachclub with a nice restaurant! The chairs and umbrella was expensive, but everything was available and clean.

Italy is in pitiful conditions. arrogant and rude administer these poor people with merciless cruelty. tourism laughed at you at this misery and everything becomes painful

Wonderful beach. Crystal clear water reminiscent of the Aegean. We had luxury sun loungers from a super friendly Ukrainian working for cafe Theresa on the beach ( cf review) who even provided me with a mask ( unfortunately useless;-) and snorkel.
Beach vendors from Morocco and India with some really pretty stuff on offer - great to do your last minute shopping reclined!
Excellent massage from Chinese Luca
Altogether a more than pleasant last day on the fabulous island of ischia

Clean and nice sand, beach bar right there. Very nice place. Easy access. Sun beds available for rental.

Beautiful sunset. Average beach.

Pros:
1. Stunning sunset. The best on the island.
2. Cheap (20€ for one umbrella, 2 chairs and a sun lounger).

Cons:
1. Extremely tight "legroom" (space between the parasol umbrella is reduced to minimum: they almost touch).
2. The first row of umbrella is so close to the water that often waves wash your feet. 3. The sand is not fine (no sand castles) and the water becomes rapidly deep.
4. You need a taxi or bus to get there from Forio (or anywhere else on the island).

What more could you want. The sand is quite coarse and got red hot but at least it didn't blow all over the place. There are restaurants all along the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas in front of them. They seemed quite expensive but at either end of the beach there is free space, admittedly mostly full of Italians, all of whom seemed to be related. This made it a bit noisy but quite good fun. The water was warm and seemed very clean. It got deep quite quickly so you'd need to be careful with children. Most of the restaurants seemed to have a resident lifeguard but whether he'd rescue you if you hadn't paid for one of their sunbeds seemed dubious.

We walked to Poseidon from the centre of Forio and passed Citara Beach , great views and plenty of bars and restaurants . There was also a Thai woman offering foot massges on the beach . Well worth a visit !

full of cigarette buts, no sign of maintenance. Water becomes deep quite abruptly, the beach has an uncomfortable slope. Best beach hours before 9am when the noisy italian families show up.

Nice beach, lots of space, but unnatural sticky sand and a few overpriced bars. make sure you pick the right sun loungers!

Indeed very beautiful and peaceful, spent an hr contemplating the incredible landscape and enjoying the sound of the sea. Too cold to get in but good for walking and a bit of me time.
The public part of the beach is quite small, can't only imagine how busy it must be during summer. Bus #2 great way to get there and back to ischia porto
