We enjoyed with my friend 2 days there despite the long stair way down to the beach! A very nice small beach, with fine waters, good music, great service and friendly stuff. Good choice to spend the day!!

If you like Andros, and looking for a nice beach with services (drinks, food, umbrellas, and music), you will love Piso Gialia Beach and the beach bar. The access to the beach isn't easy but after descending a long flight of stair you will find a beautiful beach and full service beach bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive and helped make for a great day at the beach.

This review is more about the beach than the bar, but let's start with the latter. Nice, relaxed music at an acceptable volume, adding to our experience rather than trying to dominate it. Great peach, banana and strawberry "smoothies" at very reasonable price. Same for frappé coffee. The beach is gorgeous and was wonderfully empty for August. Very soft sand, crystal clear water and lots of friendly fish many of which are curious and swim around you, not hesitating to each bread from our hands. A wonderful experience we hope to renew.

I'm not reviewing the beach bar but the beach itself. Definitely worth the climbing of 170 steps on the way up. Luckily the beach bar occupies a small part of the beach and you can enjoy the rest of it in peace. Lovely crystal clear waters in a fairly protected by the wind beach. Go for it.
