Unbeatable...very big beach, excellent water. It was windy but we enjoyed a lot a full day there. You drive for some km in a non asphalt road, but you dont need any special car to reach it. We went there with a small rented Suzuki Alto! On the way back, stopping to Kossis for dinner is highly recommended.

We visited the beach on a hot August day and it was a very pleasant experience. The road leading there was better that we’ve heard (a little rocky , but every vehicle can go just fine). The beach bar there offers set of umbrella and chairs regularly but when we got there all the chairs were occupied so we just took the umbrella. Maybe they should consider having more chairs.. the water was fantastic!

The beach was great with nice beach bar in place. But the road to get there was really hard to pass.

Maybe the most beautiful beach in Andros. Well organised with umbrellas and small stand selling water, coffee and drinks. There is also a taverna. The road is a little wavy so be prepared. It worth visiting!!!

Beautiful place, offers a pleasant feeling of seclusion yet also has a cantine for snacks and drinks and a decent tavern nearby.
Umbrellas are also available and the view to the open Aegean sea very relaxing.

We went to Zorkos on a weekday, in late August and it was half empty, to our surprise. It was quite windy, but the kids loved playing with the waves and you could actually enjoy a short swim. By late afternoon, the wind was less strong and the water was great. The beach itself is wide with sand and really fine pebble, with lots of space for kids and (grown ups!) to play. The beach bar provides snacks and drinks at reasonable prices and the tavern seemed to be really busy too. We payed 6 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella, which is great. There is a max 10 minute drive (we drove slowly because our rental was small) on a wide, pretty decent dirt road, but we would do it again, no second thoughts!

Clear waters, beautiful beach, friendly beach bar with great beer, coffees etc. Small pebbles. It gets deep pretty fast, but once you’re in, you’ll feel like you’re swimming in the Caribbean.

The best beach in Andros.
Dirty road (as per every other beach on the island!) but in good conditions (no 4WD needed). Directions are not great.. be sure you follow directions to “Aegea” (which is a residence on the Zorchos Bay)
Plenty of space, both organized and not.
If you wish to spend here the whole day you can have lunch at the Zorchos Taverna, but you can also drive back for 10min and consider the O’ Kossos Tavern (#1 Tavern in Andros according to TA): highly recommended!

Good drive for the adventurous holidaymaker. No signposts seen but follow sign marked "Aegea" will get you to this beach. watch winds from north as can be choppy waves. Nice freshwater outlet at back of beach with a Taverna and Sun Beds.
