Ferry

This is a ferry. No WiFi, no information beyond the schedule (late in both directions). I can’t blame the company for how awful Mykonos is, but I wish a ferry service just to Delos existed. Twelve hours of boredom and annoyance.

Watch out if it's windy

If the wind is blowing I would be in two minds about taking this trip. The crew were friendly and helpful (in the circumstances they needed to be) and the furnishings of the Naxos Star were comfortable enough but, due to the weather, we were not able to enjoy the refreshments which were on offer. After leaving Naoussa Harbour the journey to Delos was just one long pitch and roll. For a lot of the time the spray thrown up as the Naxos Star crashed into the waves completely covered the windows. The crew were helpful assisting those passengers who were under the weather. Delos and Mykons were extremely interesting and well worth the visit (and enduring the trip). We were told that the return to Paros would be better (as the wind would be behind us). It wasn't and the return was no better than the one to Delos. Our advice, don't go if the wind is blowing, unless you are an extremely hardy swimmer.
