We took the small train and we enjoyed it very much, we can stop in the beaches and take the next train on average every 45min

Nice little walk in the forest by rail. A little expensive for just transportation. The restaurant WAGON BAR at the beach terminal is to be avoided!!! Sandwich inedible, fries repeatedly cooked and bathed in oil, cold pancake. We threw everything away for fear of being all sick!!! Buy your sandwiches elsewhere before taking the train

Nice little walk but not phew
A little message to the organizer: for the terminal in Trojan, you could schedule a stop at the station (that would be a minimum) for people who paid for their ticket.
Since this is not the case, at a minimum, you could organize the terminal so that we do not have to get off Wildly in the grass 100m from the station.
PS: everyone on the train was shocked by this stop
Good hearing, hi.

What started as an idilic adventure turned into a near disaster! Wonderful little train ride through the forest to a lovely beach with wonderful volunteer staff. This was however quickly spoilt when on the return journey the rear carriage derailed throwing passengers around and nearly tipping over. Luckily the train was fitted with an emergency stop system and somebody managed to hit it bringing the train to an immediate stop. Disaster averted the staff quickly decoupled the damaged carriage and set us back on our way. There were a few bumps and bruises but it could have been so much worse. What a shame as it would have been a 5 otherwise!

We took our granddaughter and her little dog on this unique little train to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, complete with cafe and toilets.
If you are on the island, do not miss this wonderful trip.

Walk always as pleasant in nature the children love. Train driver at the top and very vigilant. The ticket is valid for Maumusson and Gatseau so it's great.

Reception, rude and aggressive from the person at reception who introduced himself under the name of Gérard.
Indeed, for no reason called out one of us, who, with a seasonal pass which was presented when purchasing tickets, was billed for the journey at the student rate instead of a service. free.
While the customer politely asked, receipt in hand, for the correction of this fare error, this receptionist suddenly lost his temper, shouting, banging on the cash register table, and ended up refunding the fare unduly charged.
Such behavior raises questions......... especially since the customer concerned clearly presented himself as a seasonal traveler, seasonal pass in hand and shown.
For the rest, a nice walk in the forest before arriving at a truly magnificent beach.
Nice little tourist train with open-air or covered wagons, depending on the MTO.
The commentary is made BEFORE boarding the train by Mr. Gérard who seems more gifted in commentary than in welcoming and correcting.
DAMAGE.

TO AVOID
Much too expensive (€11.50) for just a train ride through the forest to go to the beach.... Why didn't we comment on the travel time... when some reviews mention it ....
It's not very complicated to put speakers and soundtrack....
Move on, there are so many other things to do....

Great outing to do with family or otherwise. A stop at Perthuis de Maumusson where François makes this educational outing. You can take your picnic and make a stopover on Gatseau beach to catch the P'tit train on its last run. I loved this activity

Little train, a real one with rails. Walk in the forest, a bit monotonous and long. Discovery of 2 beautiful beaches but nothing else. 13€ per place, too expensive. Not a single comment, only transport.
