Great sports and music bar suitable for all ages. Good selection of beer and you can get snacks from the excellent cafe opposite. Always a warm, accommodating and friendly welcome.

Called early in the week to see the owner Matt. He promised me he would show the All Ireland Final. Despite soccer and the Ashes being on he showed the hurling just for us. Top guy and a great bar 5 star all the way

We popped in here for a crepe and warm drink in the midst of storm Miguel. The owner was lovely and looked after us really well, including our little 2.5 year old. We only had a crepe and hot drink, but the drinks menu was very inviting and a little quirky, including a brilliant tea menu (anywhere that has a tea menu is a winner in my books) and good cocktails menu for anyone on an evening out. The place had a trendy but welcoming atmosphere. If we’d been staying longer we definitely would have come back here. Planning to come back to the area in the next year or 2 so will definitely come back here if we do. Thank you for welcoming us on a very blustery day (and the assurance that the weather isn’t normally like that in June!)

Popped in for some coffee and a sit down. Being the tone of day it was it was quiet. The owner popped over and chatted with us and allowed us to pick his brains aboutvthe local area, which I can imagine to be quite tedious toward the end of the season. Very helpful indeed. Coffee and drinks were great. Good prices and great service. Nice place would def go back. Xx

I'm not normally a fan of bars owned by Brits abroad, but The Starfish manages to retain enough French-ness to be a worthwhile place for a beer/wine etc. Matt also seems to have an eclectic enough taste in music to suit most folk with various selections of genre and period.
