Fabulous beach! Great waves and lots of space to use the body boards. Lifeguards on duty. Fantastic beach cafe Le Gecko - well worth a visit. Salads very good.

Fantastic sandy beach suitable for young children or teens and in the evening you can watch the sun go down with a glass wine at one of the beach bars. Free bus to-and-from La Tranche-sur-Mer

We love visiting the beach for bodyboarding and chilling. it can get windy but that comes with the surf. Surf school and board hire is available along with a beach cafe. Parking is no longer free but it isn’t too expensive and there is a free “Fun bus” to La Tranche and other stops.

Love our annual visit to La Terriere. Such a strong breeze and vast waves and beach to walk. Always a welcome and help from life guards to get wheelchair to beach and just to welcome us. It clears the cobwebs to spend time on this beach. Coffee is super too!
