What an oasis! I took the Little Yellow Train this morning from Villefranche-de-Conflent to Fontpédrouse, based solely on the good reviews I found about the Bains on tripAdvisor. What I discovered there far exceeded my expectations. The outdoor baths, in a pristine mountain setting, were...More

This was my third visit to these baths and I loved it every time. The people who run it are super friendly and helpful, the setting is stunning and the baths are always lovely and clean and hot. I'm not sure anything beats lying under...More

The drive is mostly switchback roads....slow going but worth it. Parking is tight but doable. American bathing suits for men are not permitted...you need to rent one of theirs-you will need a piece of id as a deposit. The baths were 38 degrees but they...More

Such a great place to relax after a day of skiing or walking or even if you want to be calm. The surroundings are beautiful, people are nice.. I want to highlight the bar near the bath, sympathetic people and affordable price :)

We have been to St Thomas les Bains several times, as a couple, with friends and with children. It can get very busy during peak weeks (ski season at Christmas and the February holidays), but a mid week visit out of school holidays is relatively...More

Bring your bathing suit and prepare to relax. This is a great place to enjoy the warm waters and all the benefits of a spa. The baths are simple and not too fancy. Just the place to relax.

Great place to relax after a day of walking on the Canigou. Well run spa with 3 pools plus a stone amphitheatre where you can lie down in the sun after bathing

3 outdoor pools - one of which is really just a paddling pool. The other two are OK, but the water is sulphurous - be aware. The jacuzzis downstairs (for which you have to pay extra) are OK, as is the relaxation room. The Steam...More

No, we just turned up. But it was quite late in the day - beware that the car park can get full so you may have to park in the overflow car park which is then about a 400m walk up the hill.
