We visit the Watford temple in the UK and was informed about the Radhadesh. It was well worth the visit. The same amazing peaceful atmosphere in a breathtaking surrounding. Must visit if a follower or just interested.

Unusual experience for a HareKrishna ashram: a temple inside a castle, though the temple seems to be just one room of it. In addition to a simple and great complex - bakery, restaurant, art gallery and guesthouse. Plus bookshop, beautiful garden. Strictly vegetarian. One can also eat with the residents for 5 euros breakfast (9h), 7 euros lunch (13h:30) -... More

It is amazing how this castle and the whole area around it has developed during the past 10 years. Thanks to a group of believers in Indian religion a lot of investments were made. There is a restaurant (strictly vegetarian) and a bakery (brilliant bread). Visiting the castle is an experience as you are explained how things are run and... More

Radhadesh is an impressive chateau turned into a temple complex by ISKCON group. The medieval period chateau's architecture is worth seeing which has been enhanced by the traditional Indian decorations inside. The complex has a hotel premises to stay besides a wonderful restaurant too

The chateau is a gem in French Gothic style, built around the 15th Century. In the 1980s it was acquired by ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness and has been used as a temple, ashram and college. The beauty of it that the complete change of function did not harm the aristocratic charm of the building which used to... More

We went for the summer Holi festival. For me it was the first time and I was surprised how beautiful the surrounding of the castle is. There is an excellent restaurant, a shop, an exhibition and a temple of Lord Krishna. The hotel is clean and neat and not expensive. The atmosphere is serene, a place for anyone to feel... More
