Nice museum attached.

Nice 1 hour experience for $5.00 USD. Wonderful diaramas of the local culture. Worthy of a visit while out walking.

This old church is in the heart of old town Granada. It's not always open . Best time to visit is Sunday service. There are many churches in this town this is worthwhile visiting.

Just another old church in Central America that doesn't look like anything special. If you're walking the streets it's worth a stop by because of its history but not anything special to look at.

In a city of wonderful churches, this one didn't make an impression. It is massive, taking up a city block.

Excellent look into the facility, lifestyles, and history. They've just renovated the museum and convent, plus, the public library is right there teaching English to locals. The church is magnificent especially with its history. Learn about the church and the escapades of William Walker as he burned the city on the way out. See some museum exhibits and prehistory from... One of the several old churches around Granada. This was supposed to be a monastery. It is very well maintained.

The catedral or Cathedral is the large yellow structure with a red zinc roof facing the parque central at the beginning of Calzada. San Francisco is a parish church. There is a difference.

We attended the most spectacular wedding here, on a warm evening in November. The Cathedral was packed out, with friends, family and locals. It looked absolutely beautiful. Scatterings of petals and floating candles in delicate glass spheres lined the aisle. The bride looked resplendent. Outside, after the ceremony, locals gathered at the foot of the steps below. It was a... More

Not much to see inside and definitely not worth the US$2 entry fee. If part of it is under renovation, there are no signs and it is not reflected in the entry price. If you've seen any significant ruin sites, there's not much of interest in the few sculptures they have on display, no information in English, and limited information... More
