Don't necessarily come for the exhibits, just come for the space. A great example of how a renovation of a dilapidated ruin can breathe new life into a building. It's truly lovely inside with striking colours and strikingly posed exhibits. It only costs $5 to visit (C150) and it's worth far more than that paltry amount. Frustratingly, you can't visit... Lovely local icon and a must see. Reminds you of a similar place in Florence Italy - sit on the terrace at Kathy's Waffle House and enjoy the view here with breakfast or brunch or sit on the terrace at Hacienda with drinks or dinner. People watch too!

This old church is in the heart of old town Granada. It's not always open . Best time to visit is Sunday service. There are many churches in this town this is worthwhile visiting.

Just another old church in Central America that doesn't look like anything special. If you're walking the streets it's worth a stop by because of its history but not anything special to look at.

In a city of wonderful churches, this one didn't make an impression. It is massive, taking up a city block.

Excellent look into the facility, lifestyles, and history. They've just renovated the museum and convent, plus, the public library is right there teaching English to locals. The church is magnificent especially with its history. Learn about the church and the escapades of William Walker as he burned the city on the way out. See some museum exhibits and prehistory from...
