Good church - see if you can find the nativity scene with baby Jesus wearing some nice socks. The bell tower has a nice view and is well worth the $1 admission.

A nice view from the tower. Very nice frescos on the ceiling (it's not the Sistine Chapel in Vatican). Worth a visit.

We climbed the tower in the morning; it's open from 8 - 5. The Cathedral itself is beautiful, but I've seen more impressive ones.

A lovely spacious church with a vividly painted ceiling and a belltower you can climb up to look out across the city.

This Cathedral is awe inspiring. From the size to the ceiling murals, this place has it all. Be sure to take your camera.

Outside is very romantic temple, inside traditional nicaraguan, lets see in day and night too. Catedral de Granada is the end of the main walkstreet and opposite the temple is an old hotel where to worth to stay.

It's a great landmark building so you always know where you are! Inside is average and some of the statues, I thought were slightly weird.
