A fascinating, well organized museum in an old convent. Learn about Granada and Nicaragua through its art and culture. The rooms of primitive folk paintings were of particular note.

For a small entrance fee you can discover the art, history, and culture of Granada in a gorgeous old convent. Great place to stroll through and learn about this cool Nicaraguan city.

A great place to see local art from local artists. The highlight is the old sculptures from around Nicaragua.

This is a fascinating collection spanning much of Nicaragua’s history. Allow plenty of time. In particular, be sure to view the rooms at the rear of the museum.

This is an ancient convent that now has been adapted to serve as a museum. However, the place need an urgent renovation to fullfill its new function.
