Pierre and Michael, thank you once again for a wonderful trip in Nicaragua. This is the second extensive tour with them, as we had to cancel our trip to Nicaragua last year due to the troubles and switched to Costa Rica. We were really impressed with the beautiful country and the friendly people. we spent over 3 weeks there and can honestly say never experienced or saw any troubles. We felt totally safe everywhere and the locals were so friendly and helpful. The food was really good and so cheap compared with Costa Rica, as well as the beer and world famous Flor de Cana rum (the tour of the factory is well worth it). We stayed overnight at the beginning and end in Managua opposite the Metro Mall, which was very safe. Then we visited Leon, Selva Negra at Matagalpa, Granada, Ometepe and San Juan del sur. As usual everything went like clockwork and Pierre and Michael constantly checked with us that all was well. The drivers, transport and guides were first class. Do go and see Nicaragua, they are still suffering with reduced tourism and of course use Nicaragua Adventures.

Dear Malcolm G, thank you very much for posting such a great review! We are happy that you could eventually visit Nicaragua this time, as the 2018 political crisis is now behind and we are operating normally. It was a pleasure for our team to work with you before and during the trip! Thank you for using our services again, we are proud to receive many repeat travelers like you, either visiting the same country or another country we operate. Best regards.

We worked with Pierre and Michael planning our vacation to Nicaragua and they were so easy to work with. As a result we are having a beautiful adventure in Nicaragua! Our driver Edgar is amazing ... always on time and reliable. We highly recommend. They also arranged excellent authentic tours and each guide was wonderful. We requested an authentic vacation with culture, action and diversity and Costa did not disappoint. We were a little apprehensive about safety and Michael has been checking with us a long the way and making us feel reassured which we are grateful. We feel very safe and welcome by the locals ! We highly recommend every experience: zopango island ( stay 3 nights at least ) Granada ( loved the market shop and cooking with a local family ).... totoco lodge on Ometepie island ( the Istian kayak trip was awesome) ... selva negra ( for the jungle hiking and staying on a coffee farm experience) and now on to little corn island beach carribean white sand aqua blue water paradise! Thank you Costa !!!! Tips: some locations only take cash, you can check in with Pierre or a Michael to know which so stock up on $$ Majority of services are early or on time The plane and boat to Corn island needs some stamina as waters can be very rough and the boat conditions rustic, plane small and boats often stopped due to weather .. give yourself extra time going home for any flights to catch Coming from Canada we all got sick on the trip with a 24 hour fever ... bring some medicine ... and the bugs loved me ... lots of itchy bites which the locals think are from sand flies. Food is excellent if you like freshly caught fish and fresh vegetables! All locals are very friendly and helpful ..they love tourists. We felt safe everywhere. I have travelled many countries and highly recommend Nicaragua!

Dear Havefun1313, thank you very much for your kind words, we knew how important this trip was for your family to take a well deserved break from the cold Canadian Winter! Our travel planner Michael worked closely with you on the general trip ideas, then the operation and details with a few adjustments onsite when you wished to make some changes in logistics/activities, as well as the logistic issues to come back from Little Corn Island due to the winds. We are thrilled that the trip was so enjoyable for your family and hope to host you again, whether in Costa Rica, Panama or Nicaragua!

What an amazing 9 day trip my family and I had to Nicaragua! The trip completely exceeded our expectations! Nicaragua is a beautiful, safe country with lovely people and exciting adventures. We hope to go back someday! Costa Adventures was very instrumental in making our trip as fabulous as it was. Thank you very much to Pierre, Michael, our guide Giovanni and Edgar and all the wonderful and kind Nicaraguans we met while visiting. It was truly an unforgettable and amazing trip!

Dear Momof24851, we are thrilled to hear your family had a great trip (which you booked in February for December travel, so ewe had plenty of time to organize the best vacation possible). I know we used a few of Nicaragua's best Eco Lodges such as Morgan's Rock for your family and they provide a unique travel experience, such as we try to do with all our services. Thank you again!

Had a fantastic holiday in Nicaragua. Originally was looking at going to Belize, but ended up booking a holiday to Nicaragua with Costa Adventures. Costa Adventures was very prompt in getting back to us and putting together a great itinerary based on our input. Our family has traveled extensively including living internationally so we know our expectations. The trip was mapped out very efficiently to maximize our time with a nice balance of activity, adventure and relaxation. We stayed at 3 different places and glad we did as each place gave us a different experience and each was unique in its own way and all had exceptional service. Bit of city, country, nature, jungle, local culture, beautiful beaches and much more. All around a great Christmas Holiday for us and our three teenagers.
