Over crowded these days

You can't stand. You can't walk. Too many two wheelers passing through. But if you get a chance to look around.. It's wonderful.

Just amazing. Just go if you have not. It's the beauty of Rishikesh, world's yoga capital.Winds blowing through the bridge has a calm yogic energy in it... Just loved it during the night.

Jhula brings memory of carefree swinging. But be wary as you walk along this landmark bridge. If you are careless you will lose a lot to the monkeys prying aggressively for eatables in hand or unzipped handbags. Add to that the honking two wheelers zipping in the narrow bridge whose width is not enough for even a comfortable two way... More

Rishikesh is heritage place situated on mountain rages The Himalayas. It's on the banks of river Ganga which is considered to be a Holy river. So Laxman Jhula ( swing ) connects you from town to the most happening place with cafes, shops,Astros, temples etc etc Reaching here is either one can take a two wheeler which can be easily hired.... I love on pass ganges over this footbridge. Though it's also used by two wheelers and very busy yet it's one of my favourites.

This is a very narrow bridge , and mainly used by pedestrians. Unfortunately the locals in rishikesh ride bikes on the bridge and cause havoc. I went there on Dussehra night and we were watching ram leela on the banks of the river. A group of miscreants parked their bikes in the bridge and created a huge hue and cry... More

LJ occupies a place of reverence in the psyche of most Hindus. I have visited LJ several times since my childhood, with my parents, children, ..3 generations in all. LJ has always inspired a feeling love and admiration for Mother Nature, Ganges, hills and pure air....memories of my parents who somehow loved this place. For us, visiting LJ was a... More

View from laxman jhula is great as the 13 storey temple with mountain in the backdrop gives it a really beautiful and grand look. It is broader as compared to ram jhula.
