This square was in our way, when we walked to the city. There was people flying kites, rollerblading or just passing time. One weekend there was car show and the whole square was full of new cars. Chinese and western.

Aerding Square is a "must see" and a Great Beginning to see in this northern city. Many everyday people of all ages will visit this open square during the day and a wonderful place to see average Chinese people doing average everyday things like exercising; kite-flying; a few enoying their lunch time break; maybe a spontaneous dama-dance group; and plenty of room to walk around and enjoy yourself - - maybe ust to read a book. There are also a few monuments and display items in the square for the curious. From this central city location to can easily go to many other locations for shopping or entertainment.
