Enjoyed the perfect fall wedding outdoors at Grayson Highlands. Could not have had a prettier setting than the area near the Wayne Henderson festival stage.

Remote with few conveniences nearby so no light pollution and quiet. Campsites are too close together given size of park. I drove 4 hours from Raleigh and was still up next to neighbors.

We went on a whim. Had an amazing time! We did part of the rhododendron trail. Kids enjoyed climbing on the rocks. We saw a lot of the wild ponies that were beautiful. Highly recommend!!
