Walking into the open Barhouse was absolutley wonderful!!...it felt like home, the seating, the firepits, even the cat walking around on the property was not intrusive but made it feel like home... The view were amazing, I could sit out there with a blanket all day....They do allow picnics on the property but had plenty of intimate places where you didnt feel you were over run with other ppl...the ciders are delicious, and the pairings were for everyone...chips, cheese, crackers, chocolate..etc. All in all we had a relaxing time and will return!

Very disappointing customer service. We had reservations for a dinner and wine tasting for $84. My date’s father was rushed to the Emergency Room at 5pm and we had to miss the dinner. When I called and asked about a refund or any kind of compensation, management said NO due to food costs. The wine tasting included 5 wines EACH. They should have been able to offer a bottle of wine. We will never return here.

We stopped in on a Saturday in October 2018. The drive up to the winery is very pretty. Exterior of the building is plain, but the inside is nicely appointed with couches and a large tasting bar. They were PACKED. We had to wait a while for a tasting. (There is a tasting fee. They taste either cider or wine. Most folks seemed to be trying flights of cider. Wines were average at best. Tasting room staff was friendly, but overwhelmed by the crowd. Can't say we would return.

This vineyard was the finale of our 4 winery tour adventure. I got the feeling that they do not encourage large groups or tour groups. They were not welcoming or accommodating. They forced us into buying flights as opposed to a full tasting experience. They did not explain the wines, the vineyard and/or anything that made them special. There were a few wine notes on the tasting menu, but they were limited and gave very few details... for example, they didn’t even tell which grapes were used... Kindred did not use the opportunity to introduce the brand to new customers. I enjoy wine a great deal and their wine was pretty good. However, because of the poor service I decided not to buy and I will not return.

While on a Wine Safari, we stopped at Kindred Pointe and found good wine, nice people, and a comfortable environment. They have done nice things with an equestrian back ground. A nice visit.
