Great Place To Relax and Unwind
We stopped here on our way back to New England from Florida. The picturesque landscape was breath taking. The staff was amazing and the wine did not disappoint. A great place to relax and unwind after a long day on the road.

    Chill environment
I have frequented this location for the past 3 years. The owners/staff have always been warm and friendly towards all the guests. A place to chill at with good crowds that always spark up great conversations. The fire pit at night is everything! The wine is just an added bonus ; ).

    Had the best time.
Have been Marceline twice with my husband. This time I was with a cousin and we do a costal wine fest in VA Beach. We usually do a few winery stops on our way to and from the festival. He had not experienced Marceline. When we arrived a few folks were out on the patio wasn't terribly cold for February. But we joked that we were late to the party, you could hear music and folks inside. We were warmly greeted by Aaron who said come in but there was a party going on. A duo was playing music. And there there were two groups partying together. A group of 20 somethings and a group of older women. Everyone was laughing, having fun and the music was good. At one point they all squeezed on to what floor was left and were dancing, singing and having fun. A few folks apologized for taking over but we didn't mind. They were having fun and we were too. The duo took a break and we finished our tasting and we were going to get back on the road. Our tasting was enjoyable, a new wine to try Merlot Blanc which was good. And I was glad to see they had their cab franc available again. Was a favorite from my first visit but they did not have it our second visit. Wines reasonably priced. We both created our own flight and they were all good. Will visit again when we are in the area. The bonus of hitting it at the right time and enjoying the goings on won't likely happen again. But it made it for an interesting stop.

    A Small, Boutique Vineyard
We’ve been to numerous vineyards/wineries in this part of Virginia. We’ve enjoyed the wines in so many of the places we’ve visited that it is sometimes almost routine in our experience; HOWEVER, this small vineyard was different. All the wines we tasted (8) were different and very drinkable. We especially enjoyed the venue with our host, Aaron. He was so very informative and personable. I can say that we enjoyed every one of the eight wines (red, white, & rose) we sampled with some of them being in the upper tiers of wines we enjoy. Their repertoire of wines is diverse; the quality is great; and your palette will be very happy. We took six bottles home to enjoy. We will return!

This winery had super comfy tasting area with live music this afternoon. The wines were not to my taste. They only had 2 reds so my friend and I split the tasting. Two for each of us. Everyone were nice and the winery dogs were soooo fun and cute. The pug sat himself in front of a customer with cheese and did not move. It looked like a great place to hang out for an afternoon. There were firepits outside as well.

We spent a good part of an afternoon at Marceline Vineyard. The owners and staff were very accommodating. The wines are really great. We took flights outside in the sunshine where we sat and listened to music provided by the guitarist. A really relaxing outing. The vineyard is really pretty, provides more than ample parking, and lots of seating inside and out. Food/snacks can be purchased on site, or you can bring your own. The owners have two really friendly dogs that love to mix and mingle with the guests and entice you to play ball with them. We plan to visit again when in the area. Another vineyard for the favorites list!

From the minute we got out of our car we knew this would be a great experience. The owner greeted us at the front door. There were 5 very friendly dogs wondering around the grounds.

We each got a glass of wine and wandered out the back door to the very inviting patio. They had a large fire pit surrounded with very comfortable chairs (which are made locally). We chatted with a number of fellow wine lovers from all over the country.

The wines were very good and reasonably priced.

This was one of the most enjoyable wineries we have been too. Great vibe and fun place to just hang out.

Our visit started off on the wrong foot when we went to sit down on the chairs on the patio and got our butts soaked from the wet cushions. It hadn't rained since the night before, but they hadn't removed the cushions to let dry. The dogs they have, which roam freely, were continually chasing one another and were constantly under the tables bumping into everyone's legs where guests were trying to enjoy their wine and food. We each picked 4 wines as our flight and they threw in a tasting of a wine slushy. The wines were not very good, I could not even drink the Cab Franc as it was light and bitter. I told them about it when I left and they did nothing to replace it with something else. The peach mango slushy my wife had was decent - maybe the best thing to buy here.

We had tried to make a list of wineries that had reopened with COVID and phase 3 restrictions. We had gone to a few others and were trying to get back to 81 and Marceline isn't too far down the road from another winery. So we hung a left and went to it. We were greeted by a sweet gal Leanna I believe. Very nice to chat with, didn't rush us. We were welcome to do a tasting at the counter from the list they put together. Not a fan of the sweet ones as a rule but even those were not too bad. But it was tough to narrow down our list to purchase. The rose' was very nice and we did a Cab Sauv and a Cab Franc as well. They do slushies. Several folks were enjoying them around the winery grounds. You can purchase some cheese and crackers as well. It would of been nice to spend some time there and enjoy an entire glass but we needed to get back on the road. They were having a local musician in later that evening. I thought it was nice to hear Christian music playing while we doing our tasting. Have been to a lot of wineries but never any that had Christian music playing. A nice change, after all Jesus drank wine and made some mighty fine wine too! Very nice visit and would return if we were in the area. Leanna was just super to chat with. She made it a very enjoyable visit. And it is just my preference, but I think wineries are for adults not children. But there were some kids there, but they were very well behaved.

Spent the afternoon. What a wonderful location, very welcoming, surrounded by friendly folks. The wine is very good, the service was great, hadn't been here in a number of months and they still remembered us. Robbie Limon performed this afternoon, and he was exceptional. If you can see him, you should, especially in this setting.

We had been wanting to try this vineyard and were a little underwhelmed. It was a very hot day which was not their fault, obviously. However the white wine, Chardonnay, was luke warm and we had to go back and ask for a bottle cooler. Fortunately we had some ice to put in our glasses. The wine tasted fine. There was a live band providing good music. Our visit lasted about an hour and a half.
