Great outdoor location for running, walking or just looking at the small pond in the park. Ducks and geese can be seen fairly frequently and if you’re lucky you’ll spot a heron.

This is a great hiking location for all ages and fitness levels. Not for the handicapped in wheel chairs but an easy clear walking path. Follow the rules and don't get off of the trails. There are old coal mines here!

We had a lot of fun but be careful for poison ivy around some of the mine fencing. My 4 year old son got into it really bad.

The walking path around the lake is nice, beautiful foliage but watch the bugs at the end of the trail. Trails are clean and ease to run or stroll.

Love this park for walks with my dog. My kids have enjoyed biking the trails. You can soak up a little local history in the shade and there are great features and backdrops for photography sessions.

This Park is great as many of the trails are shaded for those who do not like the sun. The informational signs tell about the history of The mines which is interesting. Dog friendly and if you forgot a poop bag they have some stations...More
