My wife and I got our engagement pictures here last fall and the park offers plenty of places to get great pictures. If you're getting engagement pictures done ask your photographer about this place.

No matter your age or fitness style - this place is perfect. Pet friendly. Beautiful environment which seems to go on and on. Great paved trails and also natural paths.

Very nice surburban park and a place to find history of local coal mining. Off the beaton track we found a field of blooming orchids. Please do not dig up because they never survive transplanting.
