Only $15.00 on a Friday morning which was a very low price. Course was not in the best condition. Greens had damage and still showing effects of some aerification. Despite that, I enjoyed the layout. Some neat holes that required better shot placement. I would not plan anything business related here, but for a low key event or taking some... More

This is a good design that is just flat out needs maintenance. Sure the area had received a lot of rain, but the lack of moving turned a round of golf into an Easter egg hunt. From the tee boxes, it is hard to distinguish the fairways from the rough. But, don't hit the ball in the rough. Our twosome... More

My understanding is that this place was having real financial problems. They're actually was a sales sign on route 66 earlier this year. I played it over the weekend because of the price $37. Unfortunately it is not worth $37 or even 25. It is a great track of land but just so poorly maintained it's a shame. Giving them... More

Played today and found course quite empty. Clubhouse mediocre and fairways/ tee boxes not in the best shape. Greens were decent. Course looks to be hanging on, nice place to just work in a practice round. Weekday rate with cart of $26.00 is properly priced.

My golfing buddies and I played Jackson's Chase three times this past year. It can be a bit of a challenge but is a good playable course. I enjoy playing this course as much as or more than the other three courses we play in Front Royal. As seniors we usually play from the forward tees and are able to... More

Great potential with a good layout but maintenance is lacking.Every tee box was either patchy or completely bare , most traps have been allowed to grow over and some of the greens had large holes (burrowing animals?)in them.Very reasonably prices however.

Took my father and grandfather out to play 18 today and the course was horrible. The grass needs mowed the tee boxes were worn out and hard, the greens looked like they had animals digging in them and the sand traps had no sand, just rocks. This course has potential to a beautiful place to play. Very disappointed. We will... More

After a recent round of greens fee reductions, might be the best value among the nearby courses. It is also two different courses, depending on whether you play from the whites or golds. It still presents a challenge from either, with a premium on accuracy, but a few holes are now reachable from the gold tees. Lot of elevation changes... More

This course can be as challenging as you want to make it based on the tees you are playing. My wife an I play together so I play the gold tees and she plays the reds. The course plays way to long for me to enjoy playing the whites or blues, however a low handicapper would love those tees.some of the red... Went as a part of a foursome! Was greeted by Concierge/Pro Shop Manager/Starter/.... Understaffed. No water coolers on the course. Affected game with no water. Course bunkers are under maintenance. The course has seen better days. Cheap for a Sunday morning tee time with cart but the course is full of hazards and really challenging Par -3's with valleys and... More
