We visited the Battlefield during their anniversary when they were having a reenactment. We loved it. The tour was a candlelight tour so it was dark and a little spooky. The actors did a great job of portraying soldiers, wives, family members... We really got...More

You can drive, bike or hike at this battlefield. There is a horseshoe shaped, paved road for driving and biking and a hiking trail that connects each side. There are signs that provide very interesting information about the battles in the area. The ranger station...More

Easy trails that are well marked and maintained. There are signs throughout that explain some of the history of the park. Seeing the trenches along the paths is definitely a somber moment.

Great place for civil war buffs!! You can tour by car or walk! Park rangers are friendly and are a wealth of knowledge. You'll find some local folks around the area that had relatives fight here and are gladly willing to share!
