Really nice trail that offers even a novice rider opportunity to challenge themselves! Very scenic and well maintained! Branches out into the uptown Martinsville for great food!

The trail is well maintained. Lots of woods create a quiet environment that has the feel of being out in the country, yet is actually still in the city

The walk to work the right is quiet with a stream. However, about 1/4 mile to the left was a block due to construction. Highly recommend this surprise walk in the city of Martinsville! Enjoy!

So the Dick & Willie is the most recognized trail in Martinsville. This trail keeps growing, the twenty year plan is to have over twenty miles. This trail is payment and other trails that are scheduled to connect to it are natural surfaces. Martinsville's planners have done a lot of work providing hiking trails for families and the public in general. Enjoy the hiking in Martinsville and make sure you check out all the trails.

If you wanna get out for some fresh air and some exercise this would be the place to go. It’s a pretty good walk so make sure you wear so comfortable shoes. The scenery is not all that bad. We will sure be glad when the finish up the extension. We usually walk but I might be enticed to break out the bicycle.
