Beautiful property with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed, but not overly cozy. Plenty of tables and a large tasting menu.
Lasagna meal on the weekend is fantastic and the bread is enough to make you want to open a bottle and stay a while.

A lovely place to enjoy wines. The tasting room offers a beautiful area to sit and try the various wines with great service provided. A deck provides a great view of you prefer to enjoy a bottle with friends outside. So glad we started our day here!

7 different wines to try, 3 white and 4 reds. Meat Lasagna was definitely enough for 2 and delicious. Wife is more of a fan of sweet wines, but still enjoyed the tastings. Staff was very kind and helpful.

I was a member of their wine club several years back and stopped in to see how it changed. Not a fan of any of the wines on the tasting menu. Unfortunately too chilly to sit outside and The noise level was very high

Tasted wine here while in town for business. Such a fun wine list. Beautiful setting in the rolling hills. Great staff, very funny. Kept us laughing the whole time. Drink Naked!

This is a terrific place for a day trip. Less than one hour drive from Washington, DC...Located on approx. 40 acres of the Blue Ridge mountainside. Spectacular view of the surrounding mountains....I don't drink but, I have to admit, I will take friends who do... at the time of my visit, the cost of a tasting was $10 for 8 varieties of wines....sounds downright cheap to me...sitting on the deck and taking in the views or sitting on the Adirondack syle chairs on the rolling mountainside is so relaxing and a feeling of "far from the madding crowds"...Staff was extremely down to earth and friendly....This is a nice place....

We enjoyed our weekend tasting at Naked Mountain. It was a rustic building with a fire in the fireplace. The tables at white linens and there was a nice patio outside to view the mountains. The wines were OK. We decided to stay and have a glass of wine and a piece of delicious homemade sausage lasagna with garlic bread which is available weekends. The wines and lasagna are all moderately priced. We hadn't been there for 5 years and it was much improved during this visit.

Wonderful afternoon enjoying wine and snacks on their patio. Our group of 16 was easily accommodated and the white wine Chardonnay/Reisling was outstanding !
This was our second or third trip to naked winery and we highly recommend it !

For the best lasagna go to Naked Mountain during Jan, Feb and March. This is the best I have ever had, especially the sausage. Don't forget to make a reservation, because they fill up fast. My favorite wine with the lasagna is Raptor Red. They have a variety so try a tasting before lunch!

Naked Winery could have easily scored a 4 or 5, but unfortunately several key items lowered our experience and their score down. Here is what happened.
1. It took forever (5-10 minutes of standing around at the counter) to get greeted or taken care of.
2. All white wines were served PISS WARM TEMPERATURE.
3. When we tried to say something to the server...instead of "oh, I am sorry...let me fix that" or some apologetic attitude or care with corrective action...She simply stated "Oh yes it is warm" then smiled and walked away.
4. We were truly excited to order a few appetizer plates to enjoy with the tasting and perhaps a few glasses, BUT the HORRIBLE and CARELESS attitude of servers behind the counter and the WARM WHITE Wine totally KILLED THAT. Too Bad...
To sum it up...the wines tasted like they would have been really good -- if served at the correct cool/cold temperature.
Based on our experience with wineries around the world, It is clearly apparent from the lack of care and attitude of the lazy servers...the OWNERS and MANAGERS are ASLEEP at the Wheel of this business, which is truly a shame.
This winery could really be great -- if the OWNERS invest some time and CARE in training the staff to do things right and make customers feel at home. The OWNERS should not rely on 21 year olds without training or care to run this winery.
I hope Naked Mountain Winery will turn around for the better...
We would be curious to try this again...in the future.
