Drawn to Ducard by the Tesla destination charging, their superb hospitality and excellent wine will have us going back -- often! We've explored a few other local wineries, and typically enjoy them... Ducard, however, was exceptional. We had a group tasting, along with a tour of their small production facility. Found out they also offer dinner in the wine making... More

We stopped by DuCard as a first stop of two wineries we wanted to check out. We ended up staying there the whole time because we loved it so much! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The wine we selected was great-- we ended up getting 3 bottles of the same. The views are breathtaking-- mountains all... More

Stopped in for a bite and were treated to an outstanding meal with wine pairings that left us wanting to spend several hours enjoying ourselves.

Not my favorite winery -- most were on the sweet side for my taste. The reds were also very young vintages (2014 and 2015) and could probably sit for another few years. The drive to the winery was very nice!

Thanks for visiting. For the record: We currently have 6 dry wines and 2 sweet at present (one is a port stye dessert wine), and the reds are 2012, 13 and 14 vintage. No 2015 reds will be released until next year - and our reds are always released with at least a two year 'delay.' We agree that our... More

Off the beaten path but well worth the visit especially late in the afternoon. We enjoyed a couple of delicious wines in what seems like a valley surrounded by mountains. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

This is our second visit to Ducard, and I have to say that the wine selections were even more impressive this time than the last. The owner was on hand to offer insights, and the guy pouring and explaining the wines in the tasting was funny and informative. We bought several bottles to bring back home, one to share on... More

Way up a winding country road and out of the way, but well worth the drive! We were here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the wine, the view AND the entertainment! Perfect!

This is a must-visit winery- my favorite! I've been there 3 times and each time I like it better. The wines are very good, the scenery is beautiful and te overall experience is outstanding. Sitting outside with some wine is the best way to spend a weekend. Be sure to taste the Port, and then take some home! Bring a... More

Peaceful and relaxing atomosphere. Wines are perfect for sipping outside next to the creek that runs adjacent to the patio. We have been there twice and the experience has always been pleasant. Pourers know their product and with little effort make you want to stay and kickback with a glass or two!
