While we did fall & felt the Snowflex burn, we all enjoyed our 2 hour Combo pass. We tried snowboarding first. 2 kids did trampoline. Finally, ended up trying skiing towards end. Great introduction to trying to snowboard & skiing.

We can't decide when we go. It's so great to have this opportunity in our backyard ALL YEAR. It's a bit weird getting used to the turf-like skiing condition but in the end you are having a blast. Tubing is straight up FUN. The views are also good. The only negative is that they could use a true restaurant up there. Not just a snack bar with limited hours.

Rarely a line and the kids love it. As for me I am too old to do this any more. But them kiddies enjoy it to the hill.

I understand stand that snowboarding is dangerous, and I signed the contract. But that doesn’t change the fact of how poor of a snowboarding center this is. While I was there I broke my arm... in HALF! After the fact I had many experienced snowboarders tell me how dangerous of a place snowflex really is, a long time family friend said, “ I’ve been snowboarding for years and I would never snowboard there.”. The combination of the incredibly steep incline and the “tooth brush bristle slope” (that is sturdy enough to snap ones arm in half) is just to risky for anyone to take their family or children too. But that’s just my two cents.

We have attempted twice to visit this place. The website hours did not match the center. We visited in September and May both times closed. We loved to see what all the talk is about.

I can sum this into two words. Road Rash. This is the dumbest thing I have ever tried. You should not be able to ski in the summer.

Not only is the view from the mountain beautiful but the ability to snowboard, ski or tube in the middle of the summer is pretty cool! The slopes are made of a velcro type material and it honestly feels very close to what snow feels like. Would recommend it to try!

I am an avid skier, and a member of the National Ski Patrol. So I had to try this place. VERY cool. Like skiing on wet toothbrushes. On the night I visited a bunch of students were doing freestyle tricks on the jumps and rails. BEAUTIFUL lodge with all of the rental equipment you need. A must try for anyone going through Lynchburgh

This is a one-of-a-kind place. Regardless of the weather, you can snowboard, ski or (our personal favorite) snow tube down the slopes. There is even a bunny slope for little ones...our grandkids love this place. Check out the website for details. The desk is manned by Liberty University students and you will go a long way to find a more polite bunch of young folks.

I love coming to snow flex every now and then over the offseason! There is definitely a learning curve to skiing on synthetic snow. There are also more snowboarders than skiers there, and a great portion of the slope is covered in jumps and rails. Never the less, it is always a fun experience, and the rates are much cheaper than those at any normal ski resort. Even if you have been skiing for a while, I would recommend that you try the beginner slope to get a feel for the turf. It takes some getting used to!
