We were interested learning about Hurricane Camille's effect on this area and the docent was very helpful. Highlight of the exhibits was the railroad info. Beautiful architecture/building.More

This museum was a hidden gem in downtown Lynchburg. It was small but packed with Lynchburg history. It's definitely worth a visit! Also, it is free!

Great place to learn about local history & historic figures from the area. Call prior to your visit to make sure of their hours . Plus ask what is being displayed as they change things around .

I came to the museum to do some research on my family history and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The museum is small but the displays are professionally curated and interesting. It’s also free, so go check it out!
