Very nice place and display of war memorials to all the generations. The area is nice and clean and very well put together to honor our veterans. I would recommend strolling through this rain or shine.

Monument Terrace is an interesting aspect of Lynchburg as it covers every war in some fashion and honoring those from the area who lost their lives. It's a great way to exercise too!

Easy access, lots of plaques to read, easy climb, excellent views of the city streets and river! At the top is the Old COURTHOUSE which now serves as a very informative museum, a great introduction to the history of this beautiful city!
