Enjoyed by ages 2 to 12 (even has a few activities that inspires the kid inside the chaperoning adult). Variety of interactive floors from music, mini James River, healthy lifestyle, physics, etc, etc. connected by either tubes/climbing tunnels or motion-lit steps. I have to drag my kids away after 2.5 hours. Check their website calendar for various special events.

This was such an awesome place. My wife and I went there with our son. He is autistic and enjoyed being here very much. We easily could have spent the entire day there as our son was just so happy. This place is awesome

My son and daughter-in- law brought our 3 grandchildren ages 1,3,5 her and we of course followed ... Josh Poindexter running the admissions desk set the mood with a wonderful fun-loving attitude ... Even if the attraction turned out bland Josh would have made it worthwhile ... instead our grandchildren had 4 hours of hands on fun without any regard... More

My kids and I really enjoyed the Amazement Square in Lynchburg VA. I liked the interaction and learning that my kids took away when we left. They really enjoyed the music area and the fact that they could climb from floor to floor!

How can you not enjoy leaning against the wall and seeing your silhouette, or building a tropical bird with your child, or sailing a wooden boat down a river or pulling pretend corn off a stalk? Under the rock my 2 year old granddaughter showed me a pretend animal. She milked a pretend cow and watched gravity move balls down... More

Excellent mid-sized children's museum in good repair and with friendly, enthusiastic staff. Pretty perfect for ages 4-8 but also good outside that range. Highlights include a plexiglass paint booth (kids paint the walls) and a large "river" canal boat system (a sophisticated water table) as well as a 4-story climbing structure in the center of the museum (adults can climb,...
