Had a great time visiting amusement square with my four kids. Would have liked to have been able to spend more time in the painting area but they closed it down early. The play place entertained the kids for hours. We will be back!

This is a wonderful place to take the kids! I was impressed by Four floors of creativity and imagination. Lots of hands on stuff and room to run. A lot of time and thought in creating this museum for kids. It is supervised by staff along with cameras to make sure everyone is safe. I was pleased to know their... More

This is one of the best children's museums I have ever visited. I love that it has something for all ages, from toddlers to upper elementary aged children. I also appreciate that it focuses on Lynchburg's history.

They have great exhibits including huge foam blocks, paint room, farm where you can "pick corn", river exhibit where you can float boats and open and close locks, and so much more. Some of the areas are specifically designed for 3 and under so the little kids... More

If you have children under 10, this is the place to go in Lynchburg. They will enjoy hours of play and amazement. They will actually enjoy learning new things.

Both of my kids (ages 6 and 3) love Amazement Square--we got 1-2 times/week all year round. The exhibits change frequently, but there are some tried and true favorites, like the paint room, which both of my kids enjoy (though in different ways given their differing ages). The only problem that sometimes happens is that a lot of school buses... More

Great place to take children or grandchildren during inclement weather. Also, they have numerous activities for families.
