Our favorite northern Virginia winery.
May 2021
It's our new favorite winery -- the views are gorgeous and the lovely barn / tasting room and the pavilion are great in any weather with the fireplace on cool evenings and the pavilion is shaded on sunny afternoons making it a reliable destination when we have out of town guests. The spaces are nicely divided into seating areas - less like a warehouse. Service is warm and friendly. The food and wines are reliably good. It is also open later than most other wineries and you can actually stay for sunset.

Great wine, food, service
Jun 2021 • Couples
We had been here once with friends in the fall of 2019 and had a nice time. We had a seat by the fireplace. Today we were in the pavilion. It was not crowded. The service was great and very friendly. We had a flight of red wine and ended up buying a bottle of two of the wines. We also bought a bottle of Cabernet Franc. The food was fresh snd prepared onsite. It is definitely better than the food at other wineries. The building and the setting are gorgeous. This our new favorite Northern Virginia winery!

Nice Visit
Feb 2020 • Solo
So it had been almost a year and a half since I lasted visited Creek’s Edge and I felt that it was high time for another visit. Cell service was still spotty with no service in the parking lot and a couple of bars up in the tasting room. On this visit you are guided to walk around the building to the front entrance instead of going up the patio stairs. There was one lady manning the bar and basically taking car of all the customers that came in. I did the standard tasting which had a selection of the wines verses trying all they had to offer. I was able to switch out the one red to try the Sweet Caroline. The Sweet Caroline is still their best wine in my opinion. The port was very strong on this visit and the other wines were a tad on the tart side for me. The tasting room is gorgeous and very inviting. Always a beautiful place to visit with decent wines.

Afternoon outing
Nov 2019 • Friends
A lovely setting in Lovettsville VA close to the Potomac River

It was our first visit
And perhaps our last

The ‘hostess’ at the front desk said, the wine tasting is at the bar pointing to our left, pointing to the tables on the right, said food.

It took several ‘visits’ to the front desk to get more than one menu
and discover we would come back to the desk to place our order

The room was lovely
high ceilings, big windows, a stone fireplace with a two log fire. The room was freezing. It was not very crowded perhaps more bodies could have provided heat. It was too cold to remove our coats.

A welcome greeting
Such as: Welcome to
Creeks Edge. Have you been here before?
And an explanation of the setup would have set a better tone for the day

Although the menu looked interesting, ultimately, it was not inviting and much too cold to enjoy a meal
Wine tasting only at the bar.
So we never even had a glass of wine

There are several good options nearby

Amazing - Wines, Building, & Staff
Aug 2019 • Family
Been a regular for many years now. The wines keep getting better. The building and grounds alone are worth the visit. A recent add is a chocalate retail booth. Yes, the port and chocalate pair very well. The staff is always friendly and responsive. Indoor, outdoor, patio or balcony it is all good! Please, if passing thru put this one on your list. A little off the beaten path but so worth it! Cheers!

Pretty Location, Too Many Kids
May 2019 • Friends
The Winery is nice and in a beautiful location, but the wines were just okay and the service wasn't very friendly. They seem to get a lot of people who bring small children, which isn't very relaxing and a distracting when the kids just run around while the parents drink. Doing that outside wouldn't be too bad, but this happenes inside as well. If you're bringing kids, this place might be good for you, otherwise find somewhere else.

First Time To Creeks Edge Winery And it was Great. Food, I.e. the Steamed Shrimp, Deep Fried Shrimp, And Cold Shrimp were All Delicious. Home made Macaroni and Cheese was to die for. Outstanding Wine Collection. There’s Plenty Of outdoor space to relax in and enjoy yourself. Highly Recommend this to all who like Road Trips To New Found Wineries. Looks like Handicap Access is Present. Best I can say is Enjoy your experience, check thier Facebook Page for Events.

This us my favorite Virginia winery! They have live music every weekend and during the warmer months it is outside in their beautiful pavilion! The tasting room is pretty and the spiral staircase is gorgeous! The wines are also very good!!

Disappointing
Apr 2019 • Friends
Went here on a rainy Friday night with my daughter since Creek's Edge stays open later than other wineries. Reviews were very good, but we were disappointed.
We didn't do a tasting. I tried a glass of Vintners Blend, and a glass of Foothills Red, and my daughter had the Chardonnay. We shared a White Garlic Flat Bread Pizza and Prime Rib French dip sandwich for dinner. The wines were just ok. The food was not good at all. The pizza had no cheese on it (they must have forgotten it), and 3 little pieces of tomato (!). The Prime Rib was mostly fat. The redeeming factor here was that we sat near the fire (real wood fire), and very much enjoyed the music. (2 guys- one on piano, one playing harmonica). There were quite a few families here with their kids having wine and dinner.
It seemed really far from Leesburg. We Ubered here. The cell service was spotty, and we had some trouble getting a ride back to Leesburg. Once the driver did come, he couldn't get cell service to plug in the address of our hotel.
The tasting room and grounds are beautiful. Would be great place to hang out on a sunny afternoon.
Given our experience here with so many options, probably won't be back.

Good atmosphere and live music
Apr 2019
The location is very pretty. On a warm day I think it would be nice to sit outside. However when we were there it was a cold rain spring night, so we sat by the real wood fire to warm up. The live music was nice as well. However the wine I had was just ok and the food was really bad. We split a flat bread pizza and French dip. The white pizza has three pieces of tomatoes on it and very little cheese. The French dip almost all the meat was fat.
It’s still a nice place for the atmosphere but do not come hungry. Also it’s a little bit out of town our Uber driver kept saying how far it was.
