Just a short drive from the winery corridors along Rt. 15 and Rt. 9 in Loudoun County, VA and convenient to Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania wine lovers as well!

Hiddencroft Vineyards is situated on a 26-acre former farmstead in Lovettsville, VA.

Our tasting room is an 1830’s farmhouse. We hold special music events and tastings in our rustic 1930’s bank-barn or on our large barrel-shaped patio. Our barn is also available for private parties and corporate events. We periodically open our wine production facility for tours and barrel tastings.

Our tasting house and winery are surrounded by butterfly gardens and our orchard. You can sample award winning wines, chat with the winemaker / owners, and learn about wine-making. After your tasting, relax on the tasting house deck or patio, snack on light fare available in our tasting house or bring your own picnic lunch. The atmosphere is friendly, casual and relaxing.

Open year round for tastings and wine sales, Thursday - Monday, Noon - 6PM. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

We are from Washington State (second largest producer of premium wines in the US after California, for those who don't know). When we visit our daughter and family in Leesburg we try to do a little wine tasting while here. Until Hiddencroft we have been sorely disappointed in VA reds. Clyde gave us hope. His wines are delicious and inspired.... More

In very simple terms this is a small place where the focus is on the wine. Yes you can hang out here and spend an hour or so. But this is not one of the bigger vineyards. As for the wine itself this is my Numero Uno place to go in NoVA. The wine has a great range and all... More

Hiddencroft is just a great winery to visit. Clyde is such a gentleman. We have been stopping here 1 or 2 times a year when we travel to Virginia and he always remembers us. Grandma's Love Potion is the best and now Clyde has released another Port Wine that is just fabulous. All his wines are wonderful! WE typically leave... More

Booked a group tasting for 14 with Clyde as the first stop on a wine tour with friends. The wines we tasted were the best we had all day. But the best part was the chance to speak with Clyde about his wines. It was fascinating. Highly recommend Hiddencroft.

we had a nice tasting of the wines of Hiddencroft on an overcast afternoon. They have several nice whites and an excellent red blend called Dutchman's Blend. It contains Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Tannat. It would be great with lamb or any hearty meat. A surprise was a blackberry brandy. Bought a bottle of that for the... More

This is a great getaway and a nice departure from the stuff winery experience. Very gracious hosts Clyde and Terry Housel make you fee right at home. The wines continue to impress and continue to win awards. A very comfortable winery experience. Try to come when they feature the Elastic Waist Band for an added dose of fun and oldie... More

A rainy nasty day but so glad we went. Some of the best reds in the entire area. Clyde & Terri were such a delight to visit. They not only own the vineyards but do the tastings and will tell you all about their vines, the work & how they came to be. Do yourself a big favor & stop... More

This was a nice stop. All of the wines were good. I think the cab franc was my favorite here. My friends enjoyed the fruity wine. The tasting room was in the house but felt comfortable. Grounds were cute. Our pourer, Krista was friendly and fun.

Thank you for your visit and positive review. We appreciate it! We are also glad you felt comfortable in our circa 1830's farmhouse, which is used in its entirety as our tasting room and is not a residence. More

LOVE their wine! From the ambiance, to the tasting, to the customer service, they have it all! They know how to give a wine tasting, pairing it with food (unlike other wineries in the area). I usually don't like red wines, but theirs were amazing! Highly recommend!!
