Pleasantly surprised by the wine!

Three years is too long to be away from this winery--so we made up by stocking up! Beautiful views, elegant cheese boards to go with a glass of wine, and a deep relaxing breath of country air is what makes this place so special--along with the wine, of course! My recommendation: pay a little more for the high end wines.... More

Went here with friends and loved the wines, the staff, and the cave tour. We stayed after our tastings and shared a meat and cheese tray, along with 2 bottles of wine. The decor is constantly changing, the tastings change, and the cave tour provides a unique side by side tasting. First class!!!

Better than average wine, some of it is actually even better than that. The best wine I've had that is produced in Virginia. Great bread brought in from NYC. No drunk groups of guys or gal in stretch hummer limos (bonus!!!). Some of the best views in Virginia with a friendly staff. Makes me feel far from the DC grind,... More

If you want to visit a winery that exudes authenticity and care, go to Linden! The wines are certainly on a par with any you will taste around the world, because Mr Law and his staff are dedicated to understanding the region and where the grapes will grow best and deliver the flavors that match the vineyard. And it is... More

We were in town visiting family and decided to visit Linden Vineyards. After recently returning from a trip to Napa Valley, we had our doubts about Virginia wine, but we were pleasantly surprised! We did the wine tasting, and even though we don't care for whites, we thought they were delicious! Our favorite was the 2012 Petit Verdot which we... More

Jim Law is one of, if not, the leading winemaker in the area - please go and taste his wines. Although I have never personally done it, I would recommend a cellar tasting to experience some of the reserve wines. Please note that this winery has some restrictive policies due to its size and popularity, so check on the webpage... More

First reviewed this winery in September 2015. Have visited several times since then, and each visit has been a very nice experience. It helps to be a Case Club member here, as their deck and indoor seating areas are reserved for members on the weekends. Go on a Monday or Friday if possible, or buy a case during your visit... Everyone has me telling me that I must go to Linden Winery because the wines are so good. So I went. The wines are fine, but I did not find any that I fell in love with. The 2012 petit verdot was the best for me. The winery is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. Looks like a nice... More

I'll start by saying that the wines at Linden are very good and a great value (and we picked up a few bottles to take home). The tasting experience itself though was a bit ehh, and we've been to a fair number of tasting rooms throughout the world. They were a bit busy when we walked in, but we ended... More
