I own property on the opposite bank from the trail in Lexington. It is a beautiful stretch of river there but please be careful if you go swimming. The depth can go from a foot to 10 feet deep very fast. I saved a few...More

Easy walk. . . Beautiful views. We saw deer and enjoyed the friendliness of other visitors. Well maintained.

I ran about 9K and really enjoyed the flat, shady trail along the river. Parking is across the access to the trail which made it convenient.

Nice trail, flat and walkable, river is beautiful! Do be wary of any falling rocks in a few areas. We saw some unique things.

Runs along the river from the Lexington access points. Tricky to locate parking but worth the short search (along the roadway). Giving 4 stars because folks don't always leash their dogs.
