We signed up for the morning ride to orient our day in Lexington and it was the perfect way to start. We have visited the town several times before but never really had a comprehensive view of where to go and what to do. Our guide gave us a great overview historically and geographically and we learned quite a bit... More

My husband and I took the carriage ride mainly to learn about the historic city. Aaron and Abe were our horses and they are brothers. Aaron wants to go, go, go, and Abe wants to sleep. They were funny. The overall ride was so worth it because after it was over (about 1 hr), we went to several of the... More

My husband and I enjoyed our tour around Lexington. It was easy to find the location, just across the street from the visitors center. We put our name on the clipboard and were off on our ride through town. Our guide was informative throughout the tour- offering bits of history and insights that we would not have gotten if we... Very informative! A nice way to see Lexington in about hour. Across the street from the visitors center, there is a sign up sheet hanging from there sign. No reservations unless you are in a group of ten or more.

We enjoyed the charm and character of the carriage ride. It was quite educational as well on several points of Civil War history.

The carriage tour was a great way to start our visit to Lexington. Our driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much "trivia" and traditions. Good way to see which historical sites we wanted to go back to.

We decided to end our trip with carriage ride throughout Lexington. One of our best decisions. The gentleman that was our guide was from Lexington. He had so much knowledge of the history of the city. Found out that he had done some the restoration in the B&B we were staying in. Master craftsman. The horses (1/2 brother and sister)... More
